An Endless Pain
This is an absolutely fun and darkly funny short story. It becomes clear almost immediately how bad the misery has been for this poor man and the insanity he’s been driven too. This is definitely a 5 stars plus and I recommend it highly to all.

Crystal Jennings returned to Forest Springs with a secret, well, two secrets.
Secret one – she was pregnant with her ex’s baby.
Secret two – she had the proof that could bring her ex down for good.
Laying low in her hometown, she only wanted to stay long enough to plan her next move. Until her old flame, now known by the name Preacher, discovered her secrets and insisted she stay in town under his protection.
The years had changed the young rebel she knew into a brooding father of a young girl who now favored leather jackets and motorcycles. Close-mouthed about his past, he had built a life revolving around his daughter and the diner he co-owned. Back in the day, he’d pushed her away just as he pushed her away now.
Over the years her feelings lay dormant just under the surface until the touch of his hand had her emotions swirling once again. Should she stay and see where those feelings led or leave them behind forever to protect herself and her unborn baby?

Review for Jonah’s Kiss!
If you are looking for a smoking hot romance with plenty of sizzling hot chemistry and a fantastic heroine and mouth-watering hero, then I suggest you pick up Sacrifice for Love and read Naomi Springthorp’s Jonah’s Kiss! This story made my heart gallop and melt and had my knees turning to jello. I fell madly in love with the plot and the characters too.
I feel that Miss Springthorp gives us stories that dig right into our hearts from the very beginning. Her stories are fun, flirty and sizzle with enough heat to keep you warm and cozy and utterly happy. And with Jonah’s Kiss, I feel like everything is intensified and even more satisfying than ever! The romance makes me want to swoon and the characters make me smile. A truly lovely read.

This is a book to take one’s time over.
BLOOD MASTER REVIEW
This is a book to take one’s time over.
The author has clearly taken a huge amount of time to bring the world of this book to life: detail abounds, there is history, legend, and rumour all mixed in together in a way that seems very right for the sort of post-apocalyptic scenario her characters inhabit. Those characters themselves are carefully, lovingly drawn, with their own backgrounds, likes, dislikes and motivations – and as in our own mundane world, not all of these are immediately clear or obvious. The effect of all this, then, is something like a complex layer-cake of plots, purposes, and personalities, and the result is a truly rich and satisfying read. There is detail to savour, motives to wonder at, and mysteries to unravel. Nor is even this the end of the story: Blood Master is the first in a series, and so there is more to anticipate and look forward to.
The story begins slowly, but in itself, this is not a particularly bad thing. The time has been taken to set the scene, to establish some background, before the deeper themes of the story begin to make themselves evident. For all its fantastical elements and its dark, survivalist setting, this is a story about trust, in all its aspects, and about whether trust can survive the sorts of upheavals both presented and hinted at.
It is not a genre I would normally read, but I find that I am glad I did in this case. The book well rewards a bit of patience and careful reading in order to fully appreciate the depths of detail to which the author has gone, which only serve to enhance and enrich an already compelling story.

What if your world changed in a split second, destroying everything you thought you knew and thrusting you into a world where your very survival depends on every move you make, every decision, and every step you take? Every. Move. Matters.
An explosion at the army depot unleashes a deadly cloud carrying a genetically engineered virus that turns people into flesh-eating zombies. High school senior, Casey Williams has taken refuge at the school with friends and others who managed to survive the blast and ensuing viral outbreak. They’re safe. For now. But supplies are running short, and tempers are running shorter as Casey realizes the time is coming they will need to get out. She is determined to lead her friends to safety only to discover that she’s led them into even greater danger. Determined to save her friends, she fights the living and the undead in her quest to survive.

Great start to the series.
This was a really fun and fast read. It kept me hooked and not wanting to stop until the end. It does start off slow but the authors building a lot of backstories which is really nice. A lot of reviews are saying its too short but that really isn’t the problem. Its the first book in the series and it’s over 200 pages. The problem is you get to the end of this one and you want book 2 so you can know what happens next.
The character building in this story is amazing. You really get to know Casey and feel for her. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who’s a fan of zombie novels. YA or not its a great story. I cant wait to see where the rest of the series goes.

Another Carson Reno investigation that you will love!
Carson Reno starts the New Year with a case in Humboldt where prominent businessmen are being murdered or commit suicide. You will be taken on a remarkable journey as Reno investigates these cases until he finally gets the bad guy!
Darnell’s characters are amazing! They are believable to the point that, along with the storyline, pull you into the investigation.
I highly recommend “Dead Men Don’t Remember” to everyone!

Desiree is a very talented writer and I strongly recommend this book along with her others
The third part of a very well written trilogy. Desiree is a very talented writer and I strongly recommend this book along with her others.
While it’s not normally the sort of book I’d read, I read the first book, liked it so much, I went onto the second and now the third. I can’t think of anything wrong with it at all and it was a very enjoyable read.
