Hold on for an intense ride.

This book grabbed my attention from the first page and time flew by until I reached the final page (so sad that I have to wait DAYS for the next book). I loved the pace of the writing, the detailed (but not too much detail) military terms and the character development.

I did not read anything about the book, so I was expecting your typical military romance. It was so much more. I love the sci fi elements and the depth of the experiences of the characters. I am sad that it ended on a cliff hanger so if you hate those, wait to start until the 2nd book comes out on the 31st.

I highly recommend if you are open to reading darker content, but not so much drama to bring you down. It is not for the faint of heart.

We have a new mission: find others like Captain Eve Stone and stop whoever is stealing the lives of American soldiers and turning them into cyborgs against their will. This I will do. I will hunt down those bastards and make them pay. I owe her this, even though I’ve reached the point of no return. I owe her my help in getting her life back, even if I no longer belong in it.
I can’t go back to the way we were, and I don’t know how to go forward, or if I even want to. She would hate the man I’ve become. I’m no longer worthy of her. I am the Dragon, a Knight of Destruction.

Another great read from this author! Outstanding follow-up to book one with a great flow of action and continued character development; once you start reading you can’t stop. Looking forward to book three and the movie that needs to come from E Kay Sims work – just has to happen – I’ll be the first one in line to buy a ticket..
