All Carson Reno Mystery Series Books are standalone novels. It is not necessary to read them in any particular order.
Someone is brutally murdering people in Memphis, and for unknown reasons, the killer wants Carson involved.
They’re not just killing people, they’re removing the victim’s fingers and leaving strange clues everywhere. Carson becomes involved when the killer sends him severed thumbs – each wrapped in bloodstained paper containing Bible scripture.
Clues are everywhere, but none of them make any sense and aren’t connected – yet.
Old names surface and the mystery gets stranger and darker as Carson tries to solve the ‘Fingerprint Murders’.

Severed Finger!
The Black and White pictures mixed in with the story is classic! The Jack Daniels, the butcher knife, and the severed finger. Darnell’s style of writing, along with the sparse photos, paints a vivid picture in my mind and keeps me turning the pages. I’ve read one Carson Reno book before this and have to admit I am hooked. I don’t think Gerald Darnell can top this Reno Carson story. If you are going to read a Reno Carson, this is the one!

Well, the title is definitely something else, huh? Alright, this is my opinion, but I love this portrayal of women, I want women to think, feel and act as Lily does, because there is nothing more attractive than a strong and confident woman who knows what she wants and how to get it. There is something captivating in this story, the portrayal of all characters and the drastic changes from day to night make it for an awesome read, lessons are learnt in the hard way and in the end Lily would have to make a choice. Ultimately I think she chose right. There is a lot going on in this book and still, everything flows nicely, I love how detailed it was at moments, and especially I love how we see everything from the point of view of Lily, her thoughts and actions were interesting, this is a nice read you shouldn’t miss.
Wow. This book is phenomenal. The writing is exquisite, and the storyline is unlike anything I’ve ever read before. Little Livie is a shining star. I just adore her. It was suspenseful, shocking, and beautiful all at the same time. There are so many layers to Nicky’s writing. Highly recommended for a complex, thought-provoking read that goes so much deeper than a murder mystery.

Indelible by Samantha Jacobey is the fifth book in The New Life Series. This book picks up where Exposed left off. Tori has been trying to settle into her new life. She now has Michael by her side, and some of the questions from her past have been answered. This now brings a new set of problems for Tori. She now has a brother that is a rock star, and he has seen her play the guitar and wants her to join the band. But Tori’s fears keep her from seeing how good she really is. Michael just wants things to go back to the way they were. She wants to settle down and have a normal life since she was robbed of one as a child. But just when you think things are going good, she is thrown into yet another set of problems. Can Tori and Michael’s relationship really last when she gets the unexpected news that someone from her past is in need of her help? I have loved this whole series so far and can’t wait to see what Samantha has in store for the next book.
A New Life Series is an epic adventure. TORI FARRELL’s life IS one wild story… escaped from a biker gang and running from drug lords… used by the FBI and hoping to protect her present from her past… IT’S DARK – IT’S BRUTAL, and it’s WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! (Mature read, 18+ for graphic sexual content and violence, including rape)

Tori is Exposed !!!!!!!!!
Tori and Michael are off with the FBI who showed up at their little place out in Texas. What did they want with Tori this time? Well so much transpires in this book. We are finding out even more about Tori and her very horrible past. As you remember back in book 3 we read as Tori got married to Michael who is the brother of Henry the man in the gang The Dragons who was determined to save Tori although he lost his life that did not stop him from trying. Michael was the security for a band. Brian was the leader of that Band and for some reason he never liked Tori. Well we learn that Brian has more in common with Tori then just music. WOW, shocker there.
While Tori takes off to deal with yet another gang and The Organization and Michael is off to protect The Band yet again.
Unfortunately thanks to the FBI and whatever it is they are up to Tori is not out of this yet. She is yet again torn away from a somewhat normal life finally and thrown right back into the Gang life she has tried to get away from.
Tori may have killed all the members of The Dragons but now she is thrown into another gang. We follow her through so much turmoil. Brett the leader of the motorcycle gang has now told Tori a lot about her sorted past.
What’s in store for Tori now? Life just doesn’t want to be good to her that’s for sure.
But just like all the previous books. Tori is one very tough woman and in Exposed she is no less than a strong woman.
Kudo’s again Samantha Jacobey. This book kept me reading and I want more !!!
CAN SAM ESCAPE TOMS CRIMINAL REGIME? CRIMINAL INTENT 9 MM TRUTH ON A STICK SP GALLATIN
Sam has been trying to get away from Tom for years. Caught by the mean old man, he can’t seem to get clear. Tom has some atrocious habits and runs his crime empire with a heavy fist. Buying his way out of bondage will be expensive.
An autistic gesture, helping the cousin of a friend put something in his hands Sam needs to find out more about. The remote lodge it got lost in went on a lock down for the staff as they tried to find the small computer storage device. Sam suspects something on there could give him a substantial down payment on freedom.
Born deaf from birth, Ethan Godfrey wishes to be the first deaf international model, but living with his brother, Eric, isn’t easy. As compromises are made, Ethan soon starts to face the Devil, which his father, Jeffery Godfrey, thinks it’s his son’s pure imagination and is being childish about the whole idea. Eric tries to take Ethan’s side, but finds himself in a pickle when he receives a long-distance phone call from Lisa Godfrey, their mother, explaining her dire situation, giving Eric unimaginable pressure. Can this family hold it together with all their lies and deceit? How will Lisa and the twins convince their father the Devil is real? As the questions start to build, the Godfrey family begins to fall apart, and there is more the Devil has in store for the Godfrey family.
This was so different than Mr. Nosach’s other books but enjoyable. The Godfrey family is in turmoil and the author captures this. One son suffers from hallucinations or does he? Is the devil real? A mother has a wicked secret. All these things come together in a taut suspenseful tale. Mr. Nosach has dabbled in the paranormal before but this is for real. BROKEN TRUST is well written and it deserves 5 stars.
