Jaya started her new life in a new town, with a new-to-her old house, and a new job. After finding an old diary in a locked box in the basement, a disembodied voice called to her, eventually bringing her to the old mirror that’s been handed down by the women in her family for generations. An English Lord from another time, Artemus, calls to Jaya across time through the magical mirror, divulging the secret of the mirror and an even bigger secret about himself: he is Vampire. But another entity also comes forward, an ancient Vampire who wishes war with the living. Now, Jaya must decide if letting herself be claimed by Artemus is worth the risk of war between Vampires and humans.
