KNIGHTS OF DESTRUCTION E KAY SIMS
I loved Eve of Destruction, but this was a fabulous sequel! There was action, intrigue, humor and a hot steamy romance. Wyatt and Kat have found each other but they must go up against some nasty characters on a mission to save a kidnapped Dr. Marda. I really enjoyed the novel and I loved Gen who is basically Siri on steroids. If you are looking for a fast paced, edge of your seat read. Knights of Destruction is that book! 5 gold cyborgs

Dark Return is the sequel to Belterra, Time After Time, and takes place about ten years afterward. When Belterra was populated long ago by a select group of humans sent here by the ancients in the hope of saving the human race, the indigenous race of bat-like creatures called the Batrach were forced into the ocean and underground sea caves by a giant force field. The force field has now weakened. The Batrach have emerged from their watery prison and they want their planet back.

This one may have your heart beating wildly! Great series–I love them!!
My review of Belterra, the first book can be found here. I have been eagerly awaiting this sequel!! I am happy to say I loved it as much as I did the first! This can be read as a stand alone–but I highly suggest you read both.
There are problems in Belterra–big ones! The Batrachs have decided to try and take their country back. A forcefield has held them captive in caves for many years. But now they have someone who can help them–who is it?
This one may have your heart beating wildly as the Belterran’s attempt first to fight the Batrachs–then try to make peace with them. There are important people that are kidnapped–can they be saved?
I really think you will enjoy this one–and it does segue into the Time after Time theme towards the end and sets you up for another one of the books! Great series–I love them!!

This short story is a good startup to the Charming series written by Ms. Lawrencovna. It’s easy to read and introduces the characters. Kit, a prince whose father wants him married, hasn’t found a bride. Many balls have been arranged and then he meets someone unexpected. But if you think this is going to be a typical fairy tale, think again.
Very well written.

Are Preppers Eccentric or Truly On To Something
This series has grabbed onto me more than I expected it too. I haven’t honestly given a lot of thought to “prepper” scenarios and wasn’t sure I would enjoy reading about it – until I got the first book in this series, and Bailey, Caleb and the rest of the Ranch crew got under my skin. Ms. Jacobey has done a magnificent job of bringing Bailey from her upscale, typical self-centered teen life to a whole new world, and a complete change of priorities and world view.
In this installment, Bailey has a number of new realities to face, both in her own life and in the things going on in the world as a whole. Though she has grown so much in a very short time, we are reminded that she is still just a teenage girl in many of her actions. They definitely have their own sense of logic at that age – something the author fully grasps and relays to the reader.
I read another review that says there was not much going on in this second book of the trilogy. I have to respectfully disagree – I think that is part of the flow of a trilogy, and feel that this was all vital to set the stage for what is to play out in the final book of this series. I cannot wait to see how Samantha brings it all together from here!

Easily Another 5 Stars for this Final Book in the Trilogy
I always find it difficult to write reviews for books deeper in series/trilogies because I absolutely do not want to give away any spoilers to earlier books in the series.
This trilogy grabbed me in ways that I absolutely did not expect it to – which is a high compliment from me. From the beginning, you know that the theme of this trilogy is apocalyptic, which isn’t usually a genre I seek out, but i enjoy this author and her versatility a lot, so decided to be open-minded about it. As would be expected in the final book of such a trilogy, there is an end of days scenario, but it plays out in a spine-tingling realistic way. It certainly made me think between the releases, and more surprisingly, long after I had read the last page.
Perhaps because this is not a favored genre of mine, I found the plot to have many unexpected twists and turns, but I honestly feel that credit goes directly to Ms. Jacobey rather than lack of familiarity. Regardless of the source, I absolutely loved every one of the twists and turns, and the depth of all the characters, especially those who showed surprising change and/or growth.
Highly recommended!

After hearing about this series, I knew I had to read it. I’m hooked!! The story is very relatable, the characters could be your neighbors. And with how the world is going, you know this is happening. Bailey and her young brothers’ lives are turned upside down, after the death of their parents. The only person willing to keep them, an uncle they never see. Soon they find out why. He is a doomsdayer. The only problem, he doesn’t seem to want Bailey, only her brothers.
