Wow! So I received this book as ARC for an honest review. I never heard of Desiree Scott, but after reading Chasing Chelsey I am a fan. This book drew me in from the very first page. The story is about. The girl who is running from her past. She does not let anyone come close, cause when he does they end up missing or dead. She meets the St. CLAIR brothers and they are vowing never to let anyone hurt her. I read this book in 1 day. Could not put it down needed to know what happens next.

They say twins share a special bond and can sense when the other is hurt, AJ feels that something is wrong with his twin Jessie, so when he goes to check up on him and finds him missing, he is shocked to find a woman collapsed on his brother’s doorstep. He comes to the conclusion that Rina is Jessie’s girlfriend. Even though he has developed feelings for her, he does not want to move in on his brother’s girl. Someone appears to be hell-bent on destroying Rina’s dog rescue shelter, so when AJ helps out, they bond over trying to work out who the culprit is. The cliffhanger at the end was definitely not expected, but can’t wait to read the next one if it will be Jessie’s story. I received this book from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. First time reading a paranormal novel. Did not realize it when I purchased it. Was surprised that it held my attention throughout the book. In the past when I saw a paranormal book, I bypassed it without even reading the introduction. In saving Cassie, I was hooked from page one. I really loved the brother and sister relationship between Cassie and James. I felt their loving relationship added a lot to the story. I enjoyed Cassie’s feisty attitude the first time she met Logan when he stopped her for speeding. There were a lot of situations that Ms. Remenicky added to her story that made the book enjoyable for me. For instance, the way that Cassie’s grandmother could communicate with her and help keep her safe from the demon showed how much she loved her granddaughter. I enjoyed reading how Cassie and Logan’s love for each other developed over the weeks. I want to thank Ms. Remenicky for being able to read a book without any foul language included in the story. I also liked that Cassie was able to get pregnant and had a baby girl at the end—that was a nice surprise. I also enjoyed the book because the love scenes were tastefully done. For anyone who likes to read books without vulgar language and explicit sex scenes gives this book a try. It even makes you laugh at times. I would read another of L.A. Remenicky’s books again.

When Nina and her daughter Emily see her father killed they run for their lives. Jacob a good friend who is a cop goes after them. On the way up Vail mountain, the bad guys catch up to Nina and Emily. Rob lives on the mountain and helps with search and rescue missions. You need to read this book. I think the book was suspenseful and endearing. I enjoyed reading it very much.

I’ve read a few books by L.A.Remenicky and I must say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them all. Ms. Remenicky has given us another great story that will suck you in and keep you there from start to finish and then leave you wanting more from this author. Ms.Remenicky has written characters that feel so real that as you read about them you start to feel their pain, and at the same time, you can feel the love that they have for each other. Invisible is Elaine and Jax’s touching story. They both know each other from high school, Elaine is asked to tutor Jax in Geometry, but when he asked her to go out she was so frilled about it. But then she comes home after the date an incident happened with her stepfather Keith, he started to lay into her and poor Elaine ends up being beaten with a baseball bat. And she ends up in the hospital, while Keith is arrested. But when she is released from the hospital she decides that she must disappear, so she changes her name and starts to hide away because she knows Keith will come after her. It’s been 10years now and poor Elaine is still hiding away, and Jax has joined the police force now. But then one day he’s shot and ends up having to go to a therapist, and to his surprise, the therapist turns out to be Elaine. But soon Elaine finds out that Keith has been released from jail and in no time she knows she must move on. So she and Jax leave to hideout again. I am in love.

I absolutely love this book and all it has to offer. It is fast-paced with lots of plot twists. It is a sad, unfortunate story that ends in the best possible way. It took me about 24 hours read it; although, it would have been sooner if life didn’t get in the way haha. I am so happy that Chelsea gets her happily ever after, after all, that she has been through. This is definitely a story I see myself rereading in the future.

Desiree Scott is a talented author. This is the third Vail Mountain book. Jacob and Connie were attracted to each other and although they both had jobs away from the mountain they came back. Connie is dealing with her almost ex and his mother and Jacob come back to be the new sheriff. When things start to happen to Connie, Jacob is investigating. Read all three books, they are a wonderful series.
