Wow! What A Great Entertaining Read That’s Perfect To Curl Up With

What a great short read in contemporary romantic suspense! The storyline was different, the characters believable and plots that will tug at various emotions. This was a quick, easy read that had something for almost every reader that will keep them engaged & the pages turning! Once I started, I did not want to put it down! This sophomoric author has a bright future & I look forward to more of her work in the future. I highly recommend this to any fan of fiction.

The worst part of this book? It is too short. Just as we have been getting things developed in the characters, the locations, the relationships, the author cuts off the story. Much like a Saturday Matinee… See you next week!! Uggg…

The story is basic Zombie Outbreak with introductions to the main characters, the history of the area and what is happening now. Add a few standard plot devices and viola, instant story. Now, this isn’t to say it’s like all the others, there is enough to make it fresh and worth the time to read. I am sure to pick up any and all books in the series as they become published.

All in all, a great ride, not too much gore, a touch of romance here and there, oh, and Zombies.

Spooky and impossible to put down

I have to start by saying that this book was a pleasure to read. It is also the first that I have read by L.A. Remenicky. That being said, I found her characters to be real, believable, down to earth and charming.
Cassie is a woman who has never felt “right” in her own skin and things start to happen that make absolutely no sense at all. First, her parents are killed leaving her orphaned and alone with her grandmother. Then her grandmother dies in a mysterious way leaving Cassie the sole heir of the house she grew up in and her grandmother’s book store. All places that mean a great deal to her, but somehow host something out to get her.
Logan is a new cop who just happens to meet Cassie in typical cop fashion…she gets a speeding ticket. He has no knowledge that his boss, the sheriff, is also Cassie’s best friend and the closest thing to a relative she has now. Logan is immediately drawn to Cassie and it slowly reveals itself in a haunting and highly anticipated way. Logan was sent to save Cassie from the demon entity that inhabited a “friend” from her parents’ past. Spooky, right? I thought so too. How do you fight a demon? In the first Soldiers of Destruction book, we received an in-depth character study of Katica’s past with Wyatt Powell, the love of her life and the things that lead up to her becoming Eve Stone, a cyborg super soldier. In this, Knights of Destruction, we move into the present day. This installment is much more action-packed than the first, which focused more on the love story between the leaves. While it is still prevalent here, the major part of the novel explores Katica/Eve’s powers, for want of a better word.The different sides of Eve/Katica come into play, and I love seeing these different sides of two very different characters in one body, it’s very much a spilled personality thing happening here.Wyatt Powell is stoic and powerful— an incredible character in himself.This is an outstanding series, and I look forward to the next installment.

Bear’s Shadow starts out with some heart-racing scenes. OMG I was drawn to the story from the very first sentence and the more I read the more I found myself entranced. This is such a different breed of paranormal romance. Its full of cliff-hanging suspense and danger and some of the most incredibly sexy and ultra protective shifters that had me swooning. This Vendetta Series is to die for and I LOVE it!
