Abuse, Trafficking, and Alpha Shifters
A dead body hitting the floor and Nikki hiding under covers…Abused by her mob husband for 10 years she is beaten down..but she knows her time is up..he killed his first wife and she has a premonition she will be killed soon.
She sneaks away drugging him, alls a friend(who is a shifter and who was a close friend 10 yrs prior), but is saved by Brett and Zak, members of her friends pack..Brett a bear as an enforcer in a pack of wolves.
This is the second book in the series with the alpha and his mate the focus of the first book. They can be read separately, but enjoy the first as well.
The writing draws you into the horror of Nikki’s husband and the tenderness and protectiveness of the pack and Brett who soon recognizes Nikki as his mate.
The narrator did a fantastic job with the voice…Nikki’s soft and injured voice and the power in the males..evil for her husband.
Enjoy an action-packed and romantic story!

I loved this story!
This was an amazing story full of romance and a chance encounter.
Evangeline hasn’t seen her family for Christmas for 10 years and because of problems in her New York office decides to go home to Canada. On the way, a snowstorm hits and she stays at a hotel until the storm is over.
One reason she didn’t want to go home and she was afraid she would run into her ex-boyfriend.
She runs into much more.
I highly recommend this book!

Great Read
Beyond Duty: Love on the Double Book Two was a great read by L.A. Remenicky. Jessie served as a Marine and has finally found life at home. He becomes an EMT and helps his best friend rescuing dogs. Dori is running from her ex when she meets Jessie. She is stranded with a flat tire that she can’t fix because she has no jack. Jessie helps her. She is trying to ignore their attraction but it isn’t easy for her. I loved reading Jessie and Dori’s story and can’t wait to read more by L.A. Remenicky. Johnny Cee did another great job of narrating the characters.

How many lifetimes have you sought out your true love and found them again and again?
Did you ever have a dream about a person for years that you never met, but you know you know them very well? And when you do finally meet, the both of you have memories for things you did together, years ago, centuries ago, another lifetime ago? And the both of you know the others name from another time? Well, this happened to Skye and Derrick in their 60’s.
When they both called each other by their other name, I got goosebumps! Some people are meant to be with each other forever and that means from lifetime to another. Somehow, one way or the other, they find each other. I like to think my Husband and I are like that. I believe that you live on in your sprite form until God has another plan for you. So why not being with the only one for you, your Soul Mate, from lifetime to lifetime and so on?
This is a very touching story and makes you think about who you are with and people that you have met and felt a connection to right away. I love how Carol put this story together. It’s a love story of a different kind. Sweet, mystery, funny and heartwarming all rolled into one.

Sherry Moran
Great story
Loving Jessie’s Girl is a tender romance story that brings two strangers together. AJ comes to town fearing his brother is hurt and discovers beautiful Rina searching for his brother as well. Sparks fly between the two and their own stubbornness keeps them apart until AJ bravely tells her how he feels. They head toward a happy ending but someone from the past shows up and the story finishes on a cliff hanger. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Desiree is a very talented writer and I strongly recommend this book along with her others
The third part of a very well written trilogy. Desiree is a very talented writer and I strongly recommend this book along with her others.
While it’s not normally the sort of book I’d read, I read the first book, liked it so much, I went onto the second and now the third. I can’t think of anything wrong with it at all and it was a very enjoyable read.
