This book was amazing I hope to read more like it in the future. I have read many of her books but I think this one is the best. It kept me on my toes and wanting more!

Author

There was a time before Prince Christophe was born when the worst fate his people had to worry about was war with their troll neighbors or an invasion from elfin forces beyond the woods. But that was before he was born and was cursed.
If he dies, so to do his people.
Such a simple phrase, so oblique, and yet Kit has lived his life in fear of the prophecy, searching every shadow for assassins come to get him.
Until she came and took up arms in his defense.
Warrior and witch. Assassin and priest. She was his teacher and his protector. His friend. The only woman ever to run from him at the end of a ball, and the only woman he ever asked to stay.
But Eli is an outsider in the human world, and trusted only so far, even by the man who desires more from her than her skill with a blade. The longer she remains with him, the more she falls for her prince in a world where her prince’s life is the fate of his lands.
As the time of the prophecy draws near, Eli and Kit will face more than dwarves and shadows to find solace with each other and salvation for their people.
Sometimes the one most suited to protect you is the one who holds the sharpest blade.
And there is no sharper sword than:
The Captain.

She didn’t care that her mother wanted a different path for her; but when her mother is murdered and she appears to be next, nothing in her flawless life will matter.
Rider Bradshaw lived a carefree existence. Ex-military, he only wanted out of his family’s shaded history and chose to leave the sins of their past behind. However, when a girl he’s never heard of is placed in his charge by his father, protecting her becomes his obsession and keeping her safe his only reality.
Can Meri and Rider use her mother’s old book to figure out why someone is after them? Or will the guilty party succeed, ripping the tome away before killing them and then slithering back into the darkness…

Another great book by Samantha Jacobey
I love the way Samantha Jacobey brings her characters to life. In “The Binding” Meredith finds herself with a lot of questions: a book, her father, her mother, and Rider. Will she be able to sort everything out?
The Binding kept me going! I couldn’t put it down!
I highly recommend this book!

A Nonstop Read
I have found myself a new author to follow. Where do you start with a book like this? First, I had to walk away for a bit after the ending…I was so upset. (I know, get a life, right?!) But that is how you feel when an author pulls you into to their story so much that you are left wearing your feelings on your sleeve. Ryanne took you through all the emotions; laughter, sadness, and with the ending, anticipation for the next book to follow this.
Ms. Anthony did a great job writing about the various characters in this book because the storyline was not just about Jaxen and Itsy, even though they were the main characters; you were taken into the two families that were involved as well. I really loved the storyline for Itsy’s mom and dad.
Falling takes you down the path of a virgin and what it means to have the right person to give it up to. Or so you thought. Ryanne did a great job writing this because I felt cheated on right along with Itsy. Itsy knew that in order for her to give up her virginity to someone she would have to love that person. Is it possible that the person will be someone that you actually have crushed on for a couple of years and thought they never felt the same way? And how do you love someone and know that you will be leaving them in a few short weeks? Is the love that Itsy is feeling enough to get her to change her mind and stay behind for her man? And what happens when you wait too long to tell someone of your true feelings for them? Ok, enough of the dramatic questions!
This book was a killer because not only did it keep me reading through it nonstop, it left me wanting for the follow up to be ready NOW. Believe me; it will not come out soon enough! This is a great read for anyone looking for a story that will pull you in and make you feel invested in the characters. The same desperate feeling I had that kept me reading through this book nonstop left me feeling desperate to find out what is going to happen next with Itsy and Jaxen. (Sorry Roland)
I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Well done!
This is a neat little psychological thriller. I found myself visualizing the scenes as they unfolded, and that doesn’t happen too often for me. I will read more books by Mr. Bussa.

The verses include a glimpse into the heart and soul of one woman, who lived through a year, full of a roller-coaster of emotions, yet she retained her ability to see the silly side to things and beauty in the world around her.
If you like poetry, this is the book for you if you have grown up thinking poetry is difficult to understand, pick this book up for, within it, one can find something that will resonate with you.
This unique collection brings together works as diverse and influential as The Works of Edgar Allan Poe, the poems of Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Maya Angelou, and Robert Frost. It is a must-have addition to any library.

A Poet’s Journey: Emotions – A Voyage of Love and Hope
A Poet’s Journey: Emotions by Marta Moran Bishop is a wonderful, emotional journey through the poet’s life. Each poem beautifully portrays a series of emotions, bringing the words alive. More than one poem will appeal and speak to each reader, resonating deep in the soul. Lovingly crafted by Moran Bishop, the poems reveal bits and pieces of her life.
Below, I have listed & discussed a few of my favorites:
My Dearest Edgar and Dear Edgar – haunting poems full of deep longing for a kindred spirit. It’s obvious that the poet’s author can’t have the one person she wants above all others.
Betrayal – full of sorrow and emotional pain. At one time or another, each of us has felt this sort of emotional burden.
Enough – Builds on ‘Betrayal,’ showing the poet’s resignation to a situation and deciding she’s had enough.
Tribute to My Mother – This is a beautiful, loving tribute to a wonderful lady. Though it was written specifically for the poet’s mother, the love and warmth expressed could be for every mother.
Death, I Am Not Afraid – is a unique look at death and dying. There is no apprehension on the part of the poet, only a defiance. In this poem, she speaks to Death, accepting the inevitable, but vowing to live her life to the fullest.
Walk on the Rainbow – Weaves lovely imagery, leaving the reader uplifted.
Puddles – a fun, joyful look at what most consider a nuisance. It takes the reader back to the days when we were children and purposely jumped in every puddle.
Craigworth Dimpleton – is a tribute to a beloved family pet. It brings a smile to the reader’s face.
Hitchhiker – Although it’s about a mouse, it reminds me of a trip I took with a tree frog plastered to my windshield. It’s a charming, uplifting poem.
Bit of a Bookworm – I really identified with this poem. It is so me!
A Poet’s Journey will delight the reader making them alternately happy, nostalgic or sad. It is an amazing and intricate voyage through life and love in all its aspects.
I highly recommend A Poet’s Journey for anyone who loves poetry and even those who claim not to understand it. The language is clear, the emotions easy to comprehend. It’s a wonderful book to read and share with a friend.

This is a well written, interesting story of love, life and the heart ache that comes with it. Leah is a woman who leads an interesting, but at times sad life. Readers are lucky to be allowed to follow along on her journey that crosses continents and includes danger as Leah learns to deal with heartache linked to romance in a book that readers are going to enjoy. The author does a great job with this historical romance that has many other genres linked in the pages.

What a Long, Strange Ride It’s Been
By Backstage Blogs
The final book of a seven book series, and what a long, strange ride it has been. I really had no idea what I was getting into when I picked up the first book in the series in January, but this has been a very intense, interesting, twisting and turning, jaw-dropping journey from book one through the last page of book seven.
The title is Avenged, it is the end of the series – you simply know that s&%t is going to get real for this final installment, and it certainly does. Tori and her ragtag group are going to settle things once and for all, and it is quite an all-out melee.
The FBI – we finally get to see exactly who is playing on what team, and under whose direction. This has been the most compelling underlying storyline for me probably from book one. Seeing how this one falls into line is what I have been waiting for.
Tori’s Men – who is going to make it out alive becomes the most important question, at the crux of things more than who means the most to her. Everyone knows the risks..will it be worth it in the end?
The **bleeping** Organization – finally have all of the missing pieces come together on this mysterious bunch? Can Tori possibly take on something this big?
Tori’s big surprise – I had figured it out in the last book, but how long is it going to take her to see, and what will it mean for this story? How much will this interfere with what she needs to get done?
As always, well crafted, action-packed, well written and edited, it is all perhaps most important in this final book that it all comes together, flows, and brings closure. Ms. Jacobey gets excellent marks on all of the above.
Again, for mature audiences only. For explicit violence and sexual situations. I did receive a complimentary copy of this book for review.
