Although I am giving this book a four star review, I think many readers will like the tale even more than I did, and it is quite a tale. The author.gives readers a peek into the life of Holly Dineen. I liked Holly and could see personality traits from several people I know wrapped up in this complex lady who is just trying to figure out love, life and the emotions that go with hardships, heartaches and times that are wonderful and make Holly who she is. The book is an emotional roller coaster ride that is a must read.
A. Nicky Hjort has added to the beautiful, real-life fairytale world that she first presented in “Where Tyndra Turns to Ardnyt”. In this Norn Novella, we are given a glimpse into the true tale of Snow White, much deeper and darker than the Disney movie has presented. I love the colorful imagery and depth of each character, somehow familiar and entirely new. I can’t wait for the next installment!

Once Upon a Time… Prince Christophe can’t die. Or, more precisely, if he dies, so does his country. But that hasn’t stopped the King from hosting a ball. And it hasn’t stopped Kit’s enemies from seeking a quick end between the quadrille and the waltz. The Children of the Wood hold out hope that their Assassin Queen will fulfill the prophecy and end Kit’s life. But when Ella vies for the prince’s attention, it’s not a knife that pierces his heart or her own. One waltz at a ball. One trip of a slipper. One Prince. And one Assassin. In the world of the Never Lands, Fairy Tales aren’t quite like you remember.
K.M.M.88Fantastic twist on CinderellaThis is not the Cinderella Disney told us about. You have a charming (ha) prince, whose primary concern is the future of his people. You have a beautiful, mysterious girl whose primary concern is to assassinate the prince. There are no distressed damsels in Charming, only kickass lady assassins, complicated political drama, and a prince who wants what’s best for his people and the future of his kingdom. Charming is a wonderful beginning to the (very) complicated love story of Eli and Kit, with a fantastic world and engaging characters. Highly recommend!

New series set in a tattoo parlor
This book is the first in a 5 book series, though it can be read as a standalone since the next book will feature a different couple. The main characters are Heath and Ned. Heath is a tattoo artist and owns his own business with his brother Cooper. The other tattoo artists are X and Flynn and their Manager is Damian. All the men get along well and are like brothers to each other. Ned is a nurse and is one of 5 quintuplets. Heath and Ned meet when Ned’s brother Derek comes to Heath’s tattoo parlor to get a tattoo done. Ned is skittish of relationships, but Heath is patient and with Derek’s help starts dating Ned. The only problem is that both Ned and Heath are hiding something secret from each other, which could potentially pull them apart. There is a lot of humour throughout the book as well as deep emotion. The end was satisfying and I’m eagerly looking forward to the next installment.

Rider Bradshaw lived a carefree existence. Ex-military, he only wanted out of his family’s shaded history and chose to leave the sins of their past behind. However, when a girl he’s never heard of is placed in his charge by his father, protecting her becomes his obsession and keeping her safe his only reality.
Can Meri and Rider use her mother’s old book to figure out why someone is after them? Or will the guilty party succeed, ripping the tome away before killing them and then slithering back into the darkness…
It’s a very thrilling story and I loved how unexpected the ending was. A very well-written novel that I enjoyed reading a lot. Rider and his father are attending the funeral of someone his father knew a long time ago. He doesn’t understand why his father has brought him here when he didn’t even know these people. Apparently the deceased was someone special to his father and now his father wants to help the family uncover secrets that are better forgotten. Meri has just lost her mother. She is still in shock and grieving when she meets Rider. Suddenly, two youngsters are thrown together due to unexpected circumstances. It seems that Meri is in danger and for some reason Rider is appointed as her bodyguard. On the run, as they spend time together not only they learn more about their past but also pave a path to their future, a future that neither of them had anticipated. It’s a fast-paced novel. I liked the flow of it and the characters too. I think that it is a very good start to a promising series. Also, it is a bonus that the book can be read as stand alone.

Lady McReaderTHIS ONE IS RYANNE’S BEST!I loved everything about this one, and I want more! There’s a huge surprise in here that I WON’T spoil but it shocked everything in me to read it. I had no clue this book was going there. Kaia and Martin and Bobby are the perfect triangle. That Martin needed. His ass whipped for his mess! Bobby was on my bad list for a minute, but he pulled it in. The part where she confesses something to Bobby had me confused, but soon I realized that she did do something horrible to him first. It took me a second because I can be thick at times but yeah, I saw her wrongdoings too. This is a great read, and I really have no clue why Ryanne Anthony isn’t more famous. Can’t wait for her next book!!!!!!!!

Cinderella 7
Quite Interesting!
I enjoyed this book as much as the first four. It was filled with letters that I didn’t understand the meaning of, like DD for instance.Jennifer was a very confused woman. I loved how she went back in time to help others but was disappointed that the story didn’t explain what happened to Jonathan. Did Jen teach him how to treat his future wife? I would have liked to know what happened to him and his family. Then Jen and Taylor finally get to understand each other and poof … The story ends. I expected much more to the story.Regardless I loved the story anyway, what there was of it. Are there any more books for the series?
Jerry’s has lived his life, taking the path of least resistance and never trying to make his life remarkable, accept in his own mind. If it required a real effort, Jerry wasn’t interested at least, not until the day he found the box and met the hollowers.
Written in a Twilight Zone or Alfred Hitchcock style.
The Hollowers is Haunting!

The Hollowers – Patricia Moran and Marta Moran BishopThis spooky short story will haunt your dreams, leaving you wondering; Who are the Hollowers and why are they here? I don’t want to go into great detail because that will spoil the story, but suffice to say that I won’t be picking up any mysterious wooden boxes.

Saving Cassie–A Very Good Read****
By flo
First time reading a paranormal novel. Did not realize it when I purchased it. Was surprised that it held my attention throughout the book. In the past when I saw a paranormal book, I bypassed it without even reading the introduction. In saving Cassie, I was hooked from page one. I really loved the brother and sister relationship between Cassie and James. I felt their loving relationship added a lot to the story. I enjoyed Cassie’s feisty attitude the first time she met Logan when he stopped her for speeding. There were a lot of situations that Ms. Remenicky added to her story that made the book enjoyable for me. For instance, the way that Cassie’s grandmother could communicate with her and help keep her safe from the demon showed how much she loved her granddaughter. I enjoyed reading how Cassie and Logan’s love for each other developed over the weeks. I want to thank Ms. Remenicky for being able to read a book without any foul language included in the story. I also liked that Cassie was able to get pregnant and had a baby girl at the end—that was a nice surprise. I also enjoyed the book because the love scenes were tastefully done. For anyone who likes to read books without vulgar language and explicit sex scenes gives this book a try. It even makes you laugh at times. I would read another of L.A. Remenicky’s books again.

He must now test his abilities to save the abandoned children that live there. Will Griffin rescue the children of the Underground from a tragic end? Will Tassta and Griffin’s love survive such turmoil? Can a G.O.D. forgive himself when death and destruction follow his every move? Read Blood Phase, the gripping second book in the G.O.D.s Series!
Starman Very entertaining read!Very entertaining read (it’s steamy at times too). The plot has developed well and takes the story in a really satisfying direction. There are lots of great character interactions, lots of good scenes, and some highly explosive moments. Griffin is becoming something highly dangerous; the question is, will he be able to be a G.O.D and stay human enough for his and Tassta’s love to survive? I’m eager to find out as the series progresses. It’s a 5 from me 🙂
