Spooky and impossible to put down
I have to start by saying that this book was a pleasure to read. It is also the first that I have read by L.A. Remenicky. That being said, I found her characters to be real, believable, down to earth and charming.
Cassie is a woman who has never felt “right” in her own skin and things start to happen that make absolutely no sense at all. First, her parents are killed leaving her orphaned and alone with her grandmother. Then her grandmother dies in a mysterious way leaving Cassie the sole heir of the house she grew up in and her grandmother’s book store. All places that mean a great deal to her, but somehow host something out to get her.
Logan is a new cop who just happens to meet Cassie in typical cop fashion…she gets a speeding ticket. He has no knowledge that his boss, the sheriff, is also Cassie’s best friend and the closest thing to a relative she has now. Logan is immediately drawn to Cassie and it slowly reveals itself in a haunting and highly anticipated way. Logan was sent to save Cassie from the demon entity that inhabited a “friend” from her parents’ past. Spooky, right? I thought so too. How do you fight a demon? How do you hold onto the love of your life and the warmth of the past? What happens when that demon is dead set on destroying not only you but everything you thought you could ever want? Cassie knows.

November 12, 2052: Earth has lost two-thirds of its population to the Great War. Many more lives have been lost to earthquakes, the Clover Virus, and the Death Plague. Years later, survivors are clumped into factions. Two of those factions—the Brotherhood and the Guild Faction—have battled over medical supplies and food for years. The fight is coming to a head as manpower dwindles and the struggle becomes one to gain numbers, even if said numbers are children…
Griffin Storm, an albino man kidnapped and dragged into the Brotherhood, has transformed into a G.O.D., a Genetically enhanced Omni-dimensional being. Two weeks in the brig, and Griffin’s released after it’s determined that he’s learned to control most of his god-like abilities. His abilities have grown almost as much as his love for Tassta Vinetti and his unfortunate blood lust. His bond with Tassta’s twin brother, Penn, has grown as well and is cemented in secrets.
Soon after his release, Griffin’s told that Guild agents and the notorious Trips (super-agents of the Guild) are in the Underground. He must now test his abilities to save the abandoned children that live there. Will Griffin rescue the children of the Underground from a tragic end? Will Tassta and Griffin’s love survive such turmoil? Can a G.O.D. forgive himself when death and destruction follow his every move? Read Blood Phase, the gripping second book in the G.O.D.s Series!

Very entertaining read!
Very entertaining read (it’s steamy at times too). The plot has developed well and takes the story in a really satisfying direction. There are lots of great character interactions, lots of good scenes and some highly explosive moments. Griffin is becoming something highly dangerous; the question is, will he be able to be a G.O.D and stay human enough for his and Tassta’s love to survive? I’m eager to find out as the series progresses. It’s a 5 from me 🙂

Amazingly good series
The much-anticipated sequel to Viral Dawn is here! And it was sooo worth the wait! This is such an amazing series. I could see it being a tv series or movies, they are so well written. The characters are so well written that you get so invested in them and their stories.
I could not put this book down. I read it straight through in one sitting, it sucks you in and you have to know what’s going to happen next. Casey is such a strong character. She’s been put through the wringer but still manages to rise up and keep pushing through. I love that in this one you also get other characters POV.
I would recommend this series to anyone who loves a good zombie book. It’s labeled as YA but honestly, adults would love it too. Book 3 can not come soon enough!

I am in love.
I absolutely love this book and all it has to offer. It is fast-paced with lots of plot twists. It is a sad, unfortunate story that ends in the best possible way. It took me about 24 hours read it; although, it would have been sooner if life didn’t get in the way haha. I am so happy that Chelsea gets her happily ever after, after all, that she has been through. This is definitely a story I see myself rereading in the future.

At first, it looks like Cat will be bogged down in trivia
After reading the first Cat Collier mystery, I couldn’t wait to get stuck into the second one. Again, the world the author has built is solid and I had no trouble transporting myself into the small town in Ohio where Cat is now running her business, Red Cat Investigations, despite having never been to Ohio. And even though I read this on a hot summer’s day, the wintery background was so well described that I found myself shivering while I read it!
At first, it looks like Cat will be bogged down in trivia, finding people’s missing pets and luggage until around halfway through the story. It’s a quick read so it won’t take you long to get to that point. The blossoming relationship between Cat and Carter had me hooked, although it seems like there will be a few skeletons in Carter’s closet that may cause trouble in a future story. There’s also a new character being introduced in this story who I think will be important to Cat in the future, as well as some developments in her relationship with her own family.
It’s definitely a five-star read and highly recommended. Read them in order though, or you won’t fully appreciate Cat’s journey!

A sweet but very interesting love story
Shelby is shy but independent. A good businesswoman but a little naïve when it comes to some things.
Trent is yummy, cocky, funny, and sweet.
Drew is a lawyer. Enough said.
This book will keep your interest from the beginning. Not a dull moment.

Another great read!
Once again, Lawrencovna delivers an imaginative, well-written tale with Forevermore. And, once again, I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint being that it was just too short (yes, I knew it was supposed to be, but found myself hoping for more.) Lawrencovna is a delightful writer, and I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.
