Wonderful end to this series, wish it didn’t end!

I read this book in one sitting! I just couldn’t put it down.
I love the way Jaobey brings the mismatched characters in this series together. Through their long journey, Ami is working with her comrades to save Eriden’s civil war, hoping to end it.
Her dragon, Kaliwyn, helps her in these struggles and keeps her going strong.
I very highly recommend this series if you love a great fantasy adventure!

During a chance meeting, Candiss learns of the relationship between her fiancé and the model. Great story

I received a copy of this book for free.
This book was a great read. The story and characters were engaging and I found myself unable to put it down. It made you believe in time travel and truly live. The characters came to life and the juxtaposition between two time periods really works. I recommend this book for great escape reading!

“Here’s a cozy mystery with a new twist–the amateur sleuth is a real estate agent.” – The Death Contingency (Regan Mchenry Real Estate Mysteries Book 1) by Nancy Lynn Jarvis

What happens when Realtor Regan McHenry thinks it’s murder but no one else does?

The Death Contingency introduces Regan McHenry, a Santa Cruz Realtor, whose work puts her in the midst of mystery, mayhem and even murder. The amateur crime solver uses tools and techniques she’s learned during her career and skills she’s honed as a keen observer of human nature to solve mysteries ─ just not always soon enough to stay out of trouble.
She’s aided in her sleuthing by her husband, Tom Kiley, a computer programmer turned real estate broker, and by her friend Dave Everett, a cop reassigned as a police public relations ombudsman after losing an eye in the line of duty.
In The Death Contingency, a seller disappears before signing a grant deed. He turns up dead, and his nephew, a realtor Regan has known for years, becomes a person of interest in his death. She’s convinced the authorities’ focus is all wrong and sets out to prove it.
Then there’s a second death in the neighborhood. When it’s ruled accidental, Regan again finds herself at odds with the police. She thinks its murder and even thinks she knows who the murderer is ─ but she has to unravel past secrets before anyone will take her seriously. And, the problem is, she doesn’t want to be right.

Amateur Sleuth Is a Real Estate Agent

Here’s a cozy mystery with a new twist–the amateur sleuth is a real estate agent. So is the author. It seems like a great occupation for a detective as real estate agents certainly run into a wide variety of interesting clients, interact with people in tense situations (buying a house), and are privy to all sorts of private (particularly financial) information about said, clients. In this case, agent Regan McHenry is confronted with a seller who is late for the closing. The seller is an elderly gentleman and Regan is concerned as to his whereabouts. Is he just on a brief vacation? Or could there be something more sinister afoot? She begins to investigate. Along the way, we the reader discover much about the world of houses–and I’m sure author Jarvis has included many real estate anecdotes that are at least based on fact if not totally true. The characters are imminently likable and strongly drawn. I was particularly taken with Mrs. Rosemont. The writing is clean and easy to follow. The plot unfolds in a nice puzzle-solving fashion and the reader sees all of Regan’s thought processes–which I like. I definitely intend to read more Regan McHenry/real estate agent mysteries.

Hold On To Your Hearts

By Kathy Rouchelle
Quite an amazing story filled with love, heartbreak, mystery, suspense and did I mention love. This book is very well written and just the way I like them, not that much filler but just enough descriptions to give you what you need at the moment. (I really dislike a bunch of descriptions). The storyline is wonderful and quite sad at the beginning, with some really touching moments in-between. I loved the premise of this story and was not surprised at the outcome but loved it just the same and was extremely happy with it. The characters are so very well developed and a bit complex given their past, but I loved them so very much. His heartbreak, her amnesia! They are wonderful, the supporting characters are just as wonderful. I just finished reading this book this morning and it the feelings are still with me. I loved this book so much that I may just read it again very soon.

“I could see it being a tv series or movies, they are so well written.” – Viral Storm: A Dystopian Zombie Apocalypse Thriller (Viral Series Book 2) by Jade Lazlow

“The sores forming with unholy speed on Harley’s arms and legs confirmed the infection was spreading. Its poison surged through her veins with such momentum that she could feel its sting in the current of her pulse. Unrelenting pain seared every cell, and she struggled to maintain focus, despite the fever raging in her blood.” – Viral Storm
Viral Storm continues the story of Casey Williams and her friends attempting to flee the country and expose the evil work of BioGenetics, creators of the virus that spawned the zombie apocalypse. Euthanizing her best friend, who’d been infected with the virus, was the most soul-crushing thing Casey could have imagined, but that was nothing compared to what happens next… Like the first book in the series, Viral Dawn, Viral Storm has gore, violence, and dark themes common in zombie apocalyptic fiction, but the book focuses more on the characters’ lives than other elements. The story centers on strong, young adult female characters as do similar books in female-centered dystopian fiction like The Hunger Games, Twilight, Divergent, and The Year of the Flood. Join Casey as her struggle for survival continues in Viral Storm.

Amazingly good series

The much-anticipated sequel to Viral Dawn is here! And it was sooo worth the wait! This is such an amazing series. I could see it being a tv series or movies, they are so well written. The characters are so well written that you get so invested in them and their stories.
I could not put this book down. I read it straight through in one sitting, it sucks you in and you have to know what’s going to happen next. Casey is such a strong character. She’s been put through the wringer but still manages to rise up and keep pushing through. I love that in this one you also get other characters POV.
I would recommend this series to anyone who loves a good zombie book. It’s labeled as YA but honestly, adults would love it too. Book 3 can not come soon enough!

EPIC TALE FROM AN EPIC WRITER

By P.A.WILLIAMS

From the final moments from the first book to the beginning of this second book, I was already hooked with the author’s gifted style. The tale was easy to follow, and you could visualize the story in your head as you turned page after page. I thought that this was equally enthralling as the first book and I enjoyed it greatly.

“Also, I like learning when I read and Darnell mixes local history into the story” – Reelfoot (Carson Reno Mystery Series, Book 11) by Gerald W. Darnell

Ger reelfoot

All Carson Reno, Mystery Series Books, are standalone novels. It is not necessary to read them in any particular order.

An ex-Memphis cop and a friend of Carson is in trouble – but what kind of trouble?

While trying to answer that question, Carson finds more questions – and all with no answers.

What Carson also finds is trouble coming from all directions. The Mafia, the Teamsters Union, an unhappy sheriff, and some very rough characters are all looking for his friend, and Carson is in the middle of this mess.

An apparently senseless murder only complicates Carson’s problems, which makes getting to the truth more difficult.

1941 Plymouth Pick-up!

Reelfoot by Gerald Darnell is my first Carson Reno mystery. I loved it! I found the style of writing mixed in with the little black and white pictures captivating, like the 1941 Plymouth Pick-up truck. I have been to Memphis and other areas in the south and found the descriptions so real. Also, I like learning when I read and Darnell mixes local history into the story. I definitely will be reading more Carson Reno mysteries.
