Merysekhmet is the first paranormal romance novel written by Jo Pilsworth and Kaitlyn Bosch, two friends who met via Facebook role-play. I’ve read several parts in this series now and have loved them all. There is a really fascinating backstory to these shifters that makes them stand out and each part deepens the mythos. In this one there is a Merysekhmet as the lead hero, Ramses. What he is, is truly unique, and I’ll not spoil any details about that. The chemistry between him and Elizabeth was wonderfully done. Another thing I enjoy is that the romances in these are very natural and unfold alongside of a story. It was also neat to see a few characters I knew from later parts. I read them out of order, but that’s okay because they can all be read alone as each is a complete story. If you are looking for paranormal romance that has more to bite into, you can’t go wrong with any of the books in this series.

For those who love rock and roll and reading, this is the perfect book for you. The author has an in depth knowledge of bands, tours and the behind the scenes action of a major tour. As with all artists, tempers run high and emotions get out of hand. Cherime Mcfarlane brings out the essence of the Scot in Hamish beautifully and his conflict over his love for Lori and his doubts about her, make that love story very interesting. A good mystery and an enjoyable read!

Loved it!

I loved The Truth Inside. It was my first trans book I’ve ever read but Trish handled these mature themes very well. I loved Nate and Natalie together and see Natalie accepting of Nate made me so happy. I love Joss and Stone together too. Every book Trish writes is fantastic and I’d even read her grocery lists!

A very interesting start to a series of 9 books.

Summer Angel – Who are Charlie and Bethany? Who is John? What is happening in their lives? Who is Clarisse? What journey does she take one of those three on and why? Things finally start to make sense as I realize what has happened. It makes my heart sad. Who is Gous? Who is Donna? You need to read to see what is going on.

Dark Angel – What we find out about Donna, who she is, what her family is like, and what has happened to her that makes her like Charlie is interesting. We find out more about Gous and the others as well. We see what is going to happen, to some degree, at least we’re told what needs to happen in order to make things right.

Forgotten Angel – After what happens with Clarisse, and promises that are made, how does it affect Charlie? What happens that puts Charlie and Bethany into a tailspin and on a road trip? Where are they leaving and where do they go to? What happens on the way there? What about once they get there? All I can say is I like Keeper and the enigma that he is. I cannot wait to read The Karma Set of this series of 9 novellas. Happy reading!
