No one knows what came first, man or dragon, but throughout history, man feared the great fire-breathing beast, terrified of its breath and its claws. This story may not have Richard and Nicole per say in it, but they are defiantly there. Neeka and Braedon is the spitting image of Richard and Nicole. This was an exciting romantic read with lots of surprises and action in it. The storyline was fantastic!
Belterra is a planet divided. Each section has a leader and their own village of followers. Each group has their own belief,s, and laws to follow. You stay within your clan. This has been going on for centuries.
But Neeka, the Lord Daughter of the Warrior Clan, loves Braedon, Lord of the Soldier Clan. Braedon comes and sweeps Neeka off her feet and takes her back to his land to live with him. Neeka, a medicine woman, wins over the Soldier Clan and is welcomed.
The Science Lord, Seth, hates all the clans and wants to rid the planet of them and run the planet as he sees fit. He kidnaps Neeka and makes her a slave to him and puts the royal guards in cells to starve. Braedon and the rest of his men rescue them and leave baby Ana with her Father Seth and Braendon’s Mother Betta to raise her.
Neeka and Braendon have more than their share of problems together as a couple. They are both pig-headed and have their owns ways. They seem to always find their way back to each other, just like Richard and Nicole.
Full of mystery, suspense, and action, you will have many, many surprises along the way. My mouth was left open many times throughout the book. Carol Ann Kauffman is an amazing writer!

As the plot twists, Rhonnie finds the old adage of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer words to live by in this twisted thriller with a conspiracy slant from Bo’s past that wreaks havoc in the present. The author, Karen Vaughan writes in a flowing, reader-friendly style in not only this novel but in all her others as well.

I must say that it turned out to be a great decision.

Wow, what an adventure! Admittedly, I’m usually not a big fan of these kinds of books (I tend to stick to the sci-fi and romance genres) but I decided to give “Cross-Ties” a chance and go into the read with an open mind, and I must say that it turned out to be a great decision. I could see early on, within the first few chapters, that the author is truly talented when it comes to weaving words into stories. The prose flows in a very smooth manner while conveying everything in a very vivid way – I personally found it easy to visualize many of the scenes and also empathize and understand the feelings of Leah, the protagonist. I highly recommend ‘Cross-Ties’ to readers looking for a genuinely immersive and adventurous read. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for future releases by Carolyn M. Bowen.

Adoring and magnificent story!

Call me Grandma is one that will definitely touch your heart. If you are a grandmother, have a grandmother or even haven’t yet become one, this will touch your heart. Now, I am a big fan of Pociask, as he is one remarkable storyteller. I’ve read all of his published work and look forward any more stories that will come from his brilliant mind. He writes with his heart and it shows in his stories. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and I think as I read the paperback gift from the author, that it in my hand, turning actual pages, reading and rereading the lines and gazing at the images painted on the pages, I enjoyed it all the more. It’s one of those highly recommended books, and he is one highly recommended author.

rivetting romance

We first meet eve during a firefight against insurgents. We next meet her when she is back in the lab. That’s when the doctor on her team gives her something from her past and that’s when we see her past and how she meets her silver eyed fiancé. It was a wonderful romance until tragedy struck.
The story was told in such a way you could feel Katicas fear, anger and passion for Wyatt. I will give this read 5 stars and Kudos to E. Kay Sims for excellent storytelling.
