I loved everything about this one, and I want more! There’s a huge surprise in here that I
WON’T spoil but it shocked everything in me to read it. I had no clue this book was going there. Kaia and Martin and Bobby are the perfect triangle. That Martin needed. His ass whipped for his mess! Bobby was on my bad list for a minute, but he pulled it in. The part where she confesses something to Bobby had me confused, but soon I realized that she did do something horrible to him first. It took me a second because I can be thick at times but yeah, I saw her wrongdoings too. This is a great read, and I really have no clue why Ryanne Anthony isn’t more famous. Can’t wait for her next book!!!!!!!!

ExcerptBree swallowed hard, suddenly feeling wobbly. Had she just asked him to share her bed?Heat raced up her neck and across her cheeks. Embarrassment exploded in her chest.

Her grandmother would be appalled.

She hoped he would say yes.

“I don’t think that would be a good idea.” Bass’ voice wavered.

Bree’s head snapped up. “Huh? Why?” She bit back the hurt burning her throat. “I mean we’re both fully clothed adults. Not like I’m asking you to sleep with me. Just share the cot.”

Seriously! Why wouldn’t he want to sleep with me?

Bass took a step back. “First off that thing was barely big enough for me. Seriously I surprised it didn’t already fall…”

“Excuse me! Just how much do you think I weigh?”

“That’s not what I meant.” Bass continued to backpedal until he hit the door. “I just meant when we were both sitting on it. If weight was an issue…”

“So you won’t share the cot with me because I’m fat?” Her voice hitched up an octave.

“Wait. What? I never said you were fat.”

“You said…”

“Look. That thing is old, shaky, and ready to fall apart and too small for two people let alone someone as big as me. You take the cot, and I’ll take the floor.”

Bree’s cheeks heated like third-degree sunburn. She’d been acting like he rejected her sexually. “I’m sorry. I’m tired and…”

“Vulnerable.”

“Excuse me?”

“You’re tired, and the soul-bond is affecting your emotions, and you’re vulnerable.” Bass took three quick steps forward and had Bree up against the wall, her arms pinned above her head before she even realized he’d moved. “Be thankful I said no. I’m just the kind of bastard to take advantage.”

In the next breath, he had his mouth slanted over hers, his tongue seeking entrance. Bree sighed and gave in. Even as her own tongue tried to take control of the dance, her body melted against his, vibrating with need and hunger. Deep inside her, something tightened and then burst, her energy slowly draining away.

All too soon the surge of heat and electricity vanished, and Bass was back on the other side of the small room, panting. “Maybe I should relieve Rail from patrol. Being out in the snow might be a good idea.”

Before Bree could respond Bass was gone. She hadn’t even seen him move or the door open. He’d just vanished. Falling forward she caught her balance on the edge of the table and slowly sucked in a deep breath.

Taking a shaky step towards the cot, Bree realized two things. One, Bass was the best kisser in the world. And two—even though she was far from being a virgin—she’d just had her first true orgasm.

I adored this book!I loved Nate!! This book was so good. I couldn’t put it down. If only I didn’t have a one-year-old desperately crying for attention!! Where to start on this book? I had never read a book dealing with this topic. And to be honest, I knew going in more or less what the big reveal was gonna be, but it still came as a surprise. I thank Trish for that because she’s amazing.Nate made me feel so many emotions. It was weird because even though I’m not going through his journey, his insecurities were so real. I felt them. And it made me remember insecurities I had. But also feel lucky I didn’t have to struggle as much as he did. Then I was furious Nate had to struggle. And he was so much stronger for that. I felt sad and angry thinking about Nate growing up. And how hard it must’ve been for him.

But I gotta say, Natalie was just… PERFECT. I love books like this. I already feel the sadness and depression imagining how things must’ve been, and I have a wild imagination. Natalie, the protagonist, made the story perfect. Because you just want everything to not just work out, but for it to be worth the sad moments you’re put through. And the payoff was definitely good. I was left extremely satisfied and in love with Nate, and then Nate and Natalie.

I also really liked the balance in the story. We get Nate and his story, pieces of his journey and his thoughts, we get to see his life, and then we also get the romance. And I loved that one didn’t overpower the other and I was able to enjoy everything. Since it was a different type of story for me, I’m glad I had questions answered.

I’m in love with this Time Travel Series

I have never really like Time Travel Books! Once I started reading Troianne I couldn’t put it down, I had to read the whole series! I just finished reading this book Diana’s Magic! This book leaves you wanting more! You will laugh and cry when you read it! Diana is this most amazing young woman who grows into this extraordinary woman, and she finds her soulmate at a young age! As you read this book you will travel with Diana, and you will experience her pain, love, and trails and tribulations! The twist to the story of her father wedding her beloved’s mother was a kicker! I never see it coming! This is truly a great book! Can’t wait to read the next one…

An orphan in her tribe, Astarte is different, both in body and in mind. At night when others in her tribe are asleep, Astarte remains awake to view a group of fairies that no one else in her tribe can see or hear. Captivated by this amazing sight, Astarte’s innate longing is to join in with the fairies. At this point, the author added a bit of intrigue to the story that captivated me: the girl’s stronger pull to leave the tribe is concurrent with unusual changes going on in her body.

Ms. Moran-Bishop captures superbly the inner discontent within this girl child who senses she does not belong. The author also poignantly touches upon a happenstance that occurs all too often in real life parenting situations: well-intentioned elders try to calm the child yet do not question her as to what is going on or listen to what she has to say.

‘The Night of the Fairies’ is an engaging, whimsical tale that pulled at my heart.

Another great read!
Once again, Lawrencovna delivers an imaginative, well-written tale with Forevermore. And, once again, I enjoyed it very much. My only complaint being that it was just too short (yes, I knew it was supposed to be, but found myself hoping for more.) Lawrencovna is a delightful writer, and I’m looking forward to reading more of her work.

The Most Unique, Fully-Realized Dragon Books Ever

This is the second Dragon Dreamer book. If you haven’t read the first one, you can still completely enjoy Dragon Lightning. If you have read the first one, you’ll be happy to meet your favorite characters again when they return for a new adventure that introduces the legendary ice dragons.

Drakor, an ice dragon, is the hero of this new story. Coming from a dragon culture where might makes right, he is burdened with foresight that a disaster awaits his island, but no one will listen to him because he’s not the strongest. Can he, with the help of his new friends and the new skills they share with him, help him to save his clan?

So, why the claim that this series is, has the most unique and fully-realized dragons? The world-building has scientific, instead of magical, underpinnings. The author creates complex cultures for her creatures in which all the details, from how dragon lightning is generated to how the intricate, beautiful dragon nests are created, are explained by physics, chemistry, and biology. Also, the reader gets full immersion into the art, history, social norms and foods of several different cultures on a level that other books/series just don’t match. How these cultures clash and come together in complicated ways is one of the author’s favorite themes.

But, the real question is if this is a good story? Yup. You’ll be cheering for Drakor!
