Oh My! When I started this book I was instantly hooked. Two kids all grown up and they find themselves in an awkward situation. The story was wonderfully written. Jake is dreamy, his love for Tessa broke my heart. I’m not going to let the “Cat out of the bag”, but, have tissues handy. I found myself torn with feeling sorry for Tessa, but hating her at the same time for the pain she was causing Jake. I swear if this novella didn’t end like it did I would’ve thrown a huge temper tantrum. I cried big ugly tears in the end. Happy ones of course. I really hope that the author continues this story. I would love to read more of Jake and Tessa. The only negative from me is the length. I want more, I can’t help it. I’m Greedy! Well Done Danielle. 5 Lasso…
Ricky shows us what Badass is in book 10 of the MC Series. This book should be read after the Princes of Prophecy and Christian. Way too much to drink is to blame for the almost literal shotgun wedding that ties Ricky and Elizabeth together. She’s his best friend’s little sister, his VP’s daughter and Pres’s niece. How do you say no? Finally being taken seriously, he does not need this shit now, he doesn’t need to die either. Figuring the easiest thing to do is go along with it he marries Elizabeth. Knight is not happy and C4 is the least of Ricky’s worries. Elizabeth is proving Badass runs deep in the Knight family. With some help from Little Ben she may make it out of all this alive. Her biggest threat is not the Brothers or the crazy attacks the MC is fighting. It’s her dad. Trying to…
When his wife left him, Sam Martin decided that New York was too crowded and full of bad memories, so he decided to move out west. He bought a huge but inexpensive farm, near a small town called Gateway in Wyoming. Gateway was not on any map, so he knew that he would find the solitude that he desperately needed. Upon his arrival, he noted that the small town was stuck in the 1930’s, not to mention a few other quirks that mystified him. Coming from a farming background, he relished the opportunity to sow his own fields and live an uncomplicated farm life for the rest of his days. A strange black rock jutted out from the middle of the field. It had writing upon it, so he thought that it might be a strange monument to a past farmer of these fields. One night, while admiring the…

Not your average Cinderella tale
What an amazing twist to the Cinderella tale children grow up hearing. The desire, action, and intrigue.
Ella isn’t exactly a poor human beaten down by a stepfamily in this tale. Oh no, she is a leader and powerful in her own right.
Prince Charming, “Kit,” isn’t your average pampered prince looking for a bride either. He is strong and loyal and living under a long-standing curse.
Will Ella be able to break this curse and can they possibly have a happily ever after?
I can’t wait to read the next installment and learn more about this intriguing world they inhabit.

These were six amazing stories by six equally wonderful writers. You have your dragons, bear shifter, vampire, demons and shadow guard and if that wasn’t enough, you have a wonderful fairy tale baker. The heroes are drop-dead gorgeous, and their women are all strong and sassy. Each story has you’re a special goodie that they bake and for me, being a pastry chef I could not help myself but bake each and everyone. I wish I could give each story five stars for a total of 30!!!!

A Florida native, Gerald grew up in the small town of Humboldt, Tennessee. He attended high school and was a graduate of HHS class of 64. Following graduation from the University of Tennessee, he spent time in Hopkinsville, KY, Memphis, TN and Newport, AR before moving back to Florida – where he now lives. During the early 70’s the author actually worked from an office in the Memphis Peabody Hotel. So many of the events about the hotel in Carson Reno’s stories are real as well as many of the characters you meet.
His fiction books are what he calls ‘Fiction for Fun.’ They use real geography and include pictures and characters some readers might recognize. The ‘Carson Reno Mystery Series’ features adventure mysteries set in the early 1960 time period. The primary geography is Memphis and West Tennessee, but Carson’s stories take the reader across the United States and occasionally to foreign countries. Each story is considered light reading and is rated PG for everyone’s enjoyment. You are invited to pick your character and put yourself in the ‘play.’ You might find it fun!
The reader will experience character continuation through all the stories and enjoy the growth of the core characters with each new adventure.
Current published ‘Carson Reno Mysteries’ include ‘Murder in Humboldt’, ‘The Price of Beauty in Strawberry Land’, ‘Killer Among Us’, ‘Horse Tales’, ‘the Crossing’, ‘SUnset 4’, ‘the Everglades’, ‘The Illegals’, ‘Dead Men Don’t Remember’ ,’Fingerprint Murders’,’Reelfoot’, ‘Justifiable Homicide’, ‘Dead End’ and ‘Murder and More’.
Gerald’s non-fiction book ‘Don’t Wake Me Until It’s Time To Go’ includes stories and events spanning time from pre-high school to his now retired in Florida. As an avid hunter and fisherman, many of the events involve activities and stories from his personal outdoor adventures. As a business executive, and extensive traveler, he gives us some playful observations accumulated from the millions of miles he traveled across the US. As someone who loves animals and adventure, he offers thoughts and observations that are probably outside most reader’s imagination. Not a ‘tell-all’ narratives, real names and real people are included. If you know the author, you might find yourself – or one of your adventures – included. If not, I’m certain you will find a real familiarity with the stories and the times chronicled in the book. A must read if you enjoy hunting, enjoy humor and can laugh at yourself – while others are also laughing at you
Of course I am a big Carson Reno fan. Just when you think you figure it out, something happens … full of intrigue and captivating characters, I loved this story. Reno is one of those unforgettable characters, and Darnell brings the pages to life, with his unique and formidable writing style. Reno grabs your attention and leaves you hanging on every single word. As always, I look forward to whatever comes next from Darnell’s pen and whatever hunt Reno will be on next.
