Loved this story!

Going into this story after reading the blurb I went into the story expecting one thing, but what I got was completely different! This story was wonderfully written and touched on a subject that is not talked about very often. It was like a breath of fresh air, and I absolutely loved it! There was a twist I just didn’t see coming!

The characters within the story were all great. I loved how they were not perfect, And that they all seemed to have a little secret, I really want to find out what each of their secrets are! Nate and Natalie were a great couple. I really liked how Natalie was so supportive of Nate. The book had many laugh out loud moments for me which was great! I love a book that can make me laugh. It was also quite emotional, made me tear up a couple of times. I could feel Nate’s anxiety through the book, I just wanted to reach inside and tell him that everything was going to be ok!
The book had a very in-depth look into the MMA world. I could see that the author really researched this subject, I may have learned a thing or two myself about the industry. I also really loved that the cover model has a story of his own to tell! I really loved that he is on the cover of this fantastic book.

You shouldn’t feel a need to hide who you are, and this story gives hope to others who may find themselves in similar situations. This is a beautiful story of finding your way and finding that person who will be with you through thick and thin, they are always by your side and loving you unconditionally. I can’t wait to read the stories that will come next in this series.

Love this author!

Readers are in for a fast-paced, mystery thriller that is also fun. I love this author’s sense of humor. Gerry and Laura are back, this time they are managing an apartment complex. Things go wrong when they find a dead man in a dumpster with some strange wounds. Searching into the mystery, they are going to uncover some people in the building have some strange pastimes. That author has written several books with Gerry and Laura as the main characters, and each one is a fun, suspense mystery that is hard to put down. Karen Vaughn has a great writing style that is like sitting down and talking with an old friend. This story, like the rest, are must-have reads.

Bound is the second book in the “A New Life Series” by Samantha Jacobey.

Tori has been sent to LA to spend six months in a halfway house and to learn to live a normal life. Throughout this book, she recalls her life with the dragon and struggles to be with people.

You really feel for her as Tori try’s to fit into a normal life, and through her mentors gain skills we take for granted

She still doesn’t want to get close to people for she fears they will get hurt because of her.

Ghost from Tori’s past comes back to haunt her, and her fears for being found have come true. So what can she do? The only thing she can do is run…

Though Bound is not as dark and heart wrenching as book 1, you are still captivated by Tori’s story and eagerly read on to see where it will all lead to.

Samantha Jacobey has been a mastermind to write this story, has managed to captivate interest throughout.

This is definitely a 5-star book, and I look forward to reading the rest of the “A New Life” series.

Bussa surprises me with every book he writes! This one was no different, and since I love ghost stories I knew I would love it!
This book deserves more than 5 stars. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. The ending I did not see coming!

The characters of Blood Master flows into Blood Phase with ease. More in depth of these young maturing characters, their responsibilities, and struggles of ensuring the safety of everyone at the fortress as well as raiding warehouses and stores for food and essentials.
Griffin has to learn to control his abilities and temper as a demigod otherwise he could create destruction. It’s hard for him to control the human aspect since he was abused by the Guild Faction through their experiments. He’s never felt grief, vengeance or unconditional love.
He often sees visions of himself releasing the Blood Rain which could destroy not only the fortress but everyone in it. He lusts for blood and is learning the blood phases.
Tassta, the only female Guardian, constantly shows Griffin her unconditional love.
Penn has a cute caveman mentality. Cute and witty. Maturing as a young adult.
Who will deceive Griffin? Dean, the head scientist, or Lenin, the Regulator of the Brotherhood?
Zade is a ruthless Trip of the Guild Faction. He took care of Griffin during the experiments. Comforting him but still allowed the experiments to continue. He will do anything to get Griffin back.
My heart goes out to Griffin with his struggles and frustrations. He’s aware he has to prove himself not only to the others but mostly to himself.

I really enjoyed this well-written book. The storyline is very different and inventive. I was hooked from the very beginning. My only complaint is that it ended too soon. There has to be a sequel so I can find out if Nathan really goes back to sea. I received this as an ARC.

Hold on for an intense ride.

This book grabbed my attention from the first page and time flew by until I reached the final page (so sad that I have to wait DAYS for the next book). I loved the pace of the writing, the detailed (but not too much detail) military terms and the character development.

I did not read anything about the book, so I was expecting your typical military romance. It was so much more. I love the sci-fi elements and the depth of the experiences of the characters. I am sad that it ended on a cliffhanger so if you hate those, wait to start until the 2nd book comes out on the 31st.

I highly recommend if you are open to reading darker content, but not so much drama to bring you down. It is not for the faint of heart.

Excellent !!!
This story picks up where Eve of Destruction ends,
Eve/ Kat reunites with Dragon/ Wyatt.
Secrets are revealed, Lives are remembered and Revenge is served.
There are parts of that may be triggers for some.
5 stars
recommended to all lovers of military romance.
