Edmisten has a wonderful gift!

I love how Trish Edmisten brings her characters to life and puts them in realistic situations. This is the second book I’ve read by her.
Joel is self-conscience about his missing leg, but his best friend, Slade, is paralyzed and will spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. They joke and tease each other but when the PTSD hits they’re there for each other.
Then Joel meets Courtney and finds he’s falling in love but has his reservations.
I couldn’t put this marvelous book down!
I highly recommend Standing on His Own!

Wow! Can’t wait for the next book!

I love zombie books and this one is exceptional! Most of the characters are teenagers and deal with the zombies in their own way.
Viral Dawn is filled with action, Zombies and a touch of romance! It’s truly a new twist on the Zombie experience!
I can’t wait for the next book!
I highly recommend Viral Dawn!

Keeps Getting More Interesting!

I love this series. Why more people haven’t discovered this gem is beyond me. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out, you realize that the only thing you know is that you don’t know anything at all. The suspense is killing me! Non-stop action. Plot twists. Hot sex. What’s not to love?

Tori returns to her darker, diabolical alter-ego in this installment. If she didn’t seem to fall in love so frequently, I’d really think she was a sociopath incapable of feelings for others. While she seems to fall in love with numerous men, moving from one to the next without any break in between them, it seems to work for her character. Usually, this would be extremely off-putting for me and I’d quickly grow tired of the fickleness, giving up on the series. In this case, it just works and her feelings for each of these men feels genuine.

Maybe when the mystery is solved and this series has come to a close, Ms. Jacobey can do some sort of polygamist story where Tori gets to keep ALL of her men! I’m thinking it would be a nice change-up for the usual chauvinistic male-dominant polygamy storylines. Tori’s such a badass it would be believable. I’m thinking something reminiscent of HBO’s ‘Big Love’. Seriously, it would be awesome! Just think about it Ms. Jacobey. LOL. 😉

Dark and funny!
As I read “Ending in V” I pictured two actors in a Hitchcock fashion TV show. It was fantastic!
I felt Gideon was justified in what he planned even though I do not know why he actually felt that way. Bussa’s writing did not need it! He expertly showed the anger Gideon had, and that was enough.
I highly recommend this fascinating short story!

This is a fantastic second book in a series!
Griffin learns more about his powers and learns to control them, but not without a major problem.
The love between Tassta and Griffing blooms; I love how Campbell works this into her book!
I can’t wait for the next one!
I highly recommend this book to everyone!
