A Fresh YA Mystery!

Carson is in the middle of all kinds of trouble as he grapples with a senseless murder.
This is the first Gerald Darnell book I have ever read. With the kiddies out of school for the summer, I have been looking for creative YA books and this definitely made the list.
Reelfoot would appeal to mystery fans and probably any young adult who burns through Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys!

This one may have your heart beating wildly! Great series–I love them!!

My review of Belterra, the first book can be found here. I have been eagerly awaiting this sequel!! I am happy to say I loved it as much as I did the first! This can be read as a stand alone–but I highly suggest you read both.

There are problems in Belterra–big ones! The Batrachs have decided to try and take their country back. A forcefield has held them captive in caves for many years. But now they have someone who can help them–who is it?

This one may have your heart beating wildly as the Belterran’s attempt first to fight the Batrachs–then try to make peace with them. There are important people that are kidnapped–can they be saved?

I really think you will enjoy this one–and it does segue into the Time after Time theme towards the end and sets you up for another one of the books! Great series–I love them!!

Short but good zombie read

This is a pretty good ya book that adult readers can also enjoy. I like that the author gives us a pretty good background on the characters and the place. The book has some pretty good action scenes and of course zombies and some twist. Sometimes some of the descriptions of the Situations get a little bit too drawn out but it doesn’t take away from the book. The book is from the POV of a teenager but I do really like all the characters. I hope there is a next part coming as there was a cliffhanger but I would really like to read the next part especially to find out what happens to one of the characters that I never got clarification on what happened to him

Tiffi’s story is just Awesome!!

This book is part 2 of the Mercy’s Angels. This is Tiffi’s story. You should have read the first one and know that she hooked up with Nick, actually had some really hot sex when they met, lol. She also finds her father. So this book picks up where the first book leaves off. You get to find out if her relationship with her father goes anywhere and if she and Nick, “Rubbers,” continue their love affair. You will read about her growing connection to the MC along with more laughter and tears. And you will love “Beast.” Now I am chomping at the bit to get the next one, gee I have no patience. If you can’t tell, I am loving this series.

This book drew me in from the beginning! I just loved the situation the dragon and Havance were put in and how they both ended up working together, which was unheard of.
I highly recommend this book!

New series set in a tattoo parlor

This book is the first in a 5 book series, though it can be read as a standalone since the next book will feature a different couple. The main characters are Heath and Ned. Heath is a tattoo artist and owns his own business with his brother Cooper. The other tattoo artists are X and Flynn and their Manager is Damian. All the men get along well and are like brothers to each other. Ned is a nurse and is one of 5 quintuplets. Heath and Ned meet when Ned’s brother Derek comes to Heath’s tattoo parlor to get a tattoo done. Ned is skittish of relationships, but Heath is patient and with Derek’s help starts dating Ned. The only problem is that both Ned and Heath are hiding something secret from each other, which could potentially pull them apart. There is a lot of humour throughout the book as well as deep emotion. The end was satisfying and I’m eagerly looking forward to the next installment.
