Teachers, parents, and educators of all kinds – welcome to my classroom! Here within these pages, and in fact, this entire series, are lessons and activities that I have created and used with my own students over the years presented in an easy-to-use format. Through trial and error, hardship, and success, I have learned how to present the difficult world of introductory chemistry to students in scalable terms, ways that lend themselves to a wide variety of learners. So, if you teach in a small class, large class, average class, have ESL or SPED, or even if you are homeschooling, you will find the flexibility of my lesson plans tailor-made for you. Each unit includes a complete calendar plan, lessons for each classroom day for forty-five minutes of instruction each, and even formative and summative assessments to check for learning. Simply use the lessons, scale them as need be, and augment whenever you like.

Deep! Deeeeeep! This guy had issues, and I’m telling you they were believable. This is the first book I read from the guy’s view that was believable and not a repeat of the first book of the girl’s view. I hated Jax in the first book, but this completely forgave him in my eyes. I’m so going yo marry this guy!

Readers will find themselves gripping the pages of their books in anticipation of what comes next.

Cinderella 7
Super Fantastic!

The people in the neighborhood called him Crazy Ed. He sat day after day on an ashcan in the alley staring at the dirty brick wall. Most didn’t know where he had come from or why he was there, but Ed was a quiet man with silver hair, and a sad expression on his face, so they left him alone. Few noticed him and most paid no attention what-so-ever to him.
Once in a while if a spare moment presented itself, they wondered who he was, until one day Ed disappeared.

Fluid, Charming and Bright
This is a small story of Ed. But more than the love story of Ed and Isle, it is another vehicle created by Marta after the In Between Times which is meant to transport you to a different and hopeful world. While the story is to short for one to thoroughly enjoy the beauty of Marta’s writing, like Ed, we readers regret coming back to this side of the wall as the story ends. Enjoyable read.

I like a book that sucks you in quickly and this …

Senior, Casey Williams shelters at her high school with friends and other survivors of the zombie outbreak. They’re safe for now, but supplies are running short, and tempers are running shorter. Casey anticipates the looming humanitarian crisis and knows they must find other refuge or face chaos inside. She braves the savage post-apocalyptic world beyond the school’s security fence in an attempt to save herself and her friends. With sheer grit, she leads a small party to find help at the militarized safe zone. Once there, she arranges for her friends to be transported to safety only to learn she’s placed them in even greater danger. As it turns out, the zombies aren’t the only thing they should fear. Determined to seek justice, she fights the living and the undead in her quest to survive in this new dystopian reality.
Jade Lazlow spawns a new dystopian series for young adults and adult readers. The book begins with teenager, Casey Williams, living her less than happy life with her mother and foster brother, Derek after the death of her father. With a largely absentee workaholic mother, Casey is often charged with caring for Derek. The story spends considerable time establishing her life and the lives of her friends. Casey is at school when an explosion occurs at a nearby military chemical weapons facility. The explosion unleashes a biochemical warfare agent that transforms humans into flesh-eating zombies.
Jade Lazlow’s second book in the Viral Series, entitled Viral Storm is on sale now. The non-stop tension in book two will leave readers craving more dystopian, zombie apocalypse action.

Amber Hall
Great start to the series.
This was a really fun and fast read. It kept me hooked and not wanting to stop until the end. It does the start of slower but the authors building a lot of backstories which is really nice. A lot of reviews are saying its too short but that really isn’t the problem. It’s the first book in the series and its over 200 pages. The problem is you get to the end of this one and you want book 2 so you can know what happens next.
The character building in this story is amazing. You really get to know Casey and feel for her. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who’s a fan of zombie novels. YA or not its a great story. I cant wait to see where the rest of the series goes.

Of course, I am a big Carson Reno fan. Just when you think you figure it out, something happens … full of intrigue and captivating characters, I loved this story. Reno is one of those unforgettable characters, and Darnell brings the pages to life, with his unique and formidable writing style. Reno grabs your attention and leaves you hanging on every single word. As always, I look forward to whatever comes next from Darnell’s pen and whatever hunt Reno will be on next.
I received this book free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. ~Amy’s Bookshelf Reviews
