This is very short but I really enjoyed it!! Loved the way it was written, and loved the narrator’s voice. Awesome! A little haunting, even. Such a great little story, definitely recommend it

I read the Float, I couldn’t read it fast enough. It kept me engaged through the whole story. I didn’t want it to end. This author is defiantly on the right track, look forward to all future projects from him.

For those who enjoy suspense and a good old-fashioned scary shiver down your spine, you’ve found your book.
Splinter takes you into the life of young Adam, who suffers from a psychotic trauma that no early age child should be
subjected to. But despite his struggles past and present, he shows remarkable resilience to overcome it all.
I’ve always considered short stories to be the most difficult to pull off from a readers point-of-view, due to the small window
of time to make the characters believable and a cohesive part of the story. Michael Bussa delivers this in a way that would
make Alfred Hitchcock pop a breast button. You will be drawn into Adam’s world, like it or not. I dare you to read this one
alone in the dark!

Wow! This was such a great story and a great author! I bought another of his book when I was done with this one, and it was just as engrossing. He is a master of drawing you in.
I have definitely found a new favorite. I will be keeping an eye out for whatever Mr. Bussa writes in the future. I highly recommend this!

A terrific bedtime story that hopefully won’t keep you up all night.
Well written, with a captivating portrait of a town founder who still seems to be very much alive.
