Amazing first book in a series!

This is the first book by Remenicky that I’ve read, and I loved it!
Cassie returns to her late Grandmother’s house, which she inherited, and misses her so much. There are issues with the one new deputy as he treats her poorly.
I love ghost stories, and this one doesn’t disappoint!
I highly recommend this book that’s filled with the paranormal, love and mystery!

Fabulous prequel to the series!
I read books 1,2 and 3 before I read Loving Marie but it was amazing! I loved learning how Marie fit into the story.
This is the most amazing series I’ve read in a while and hope it goes on a little longer.
I highly recommend Loving Marie!

Gimme more!!!

I really enjoyed getting Brent’s story. Like with all the books in the Fairfield Corner’s books this one, while a quick short read was full of mystery and suspense.

Loved getting to know Jordan and seeing the other characters from previous books.

My thing was I wanted so much more!!! I wanted more Jordan & Brent but I get that it is just a novella which means short story.

I’m very hopeful that we’ll be getting more stories from the Fairfield Corner’s residents.

I’ve read a few books by L.A.Remenicky, and I must say that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed them all. Ms. Remenicky has given us another great story that will suck you in and keep you there from start to finish and then leave you wanting more from this author. Ms.Remenicky has written characters that feel so real that as you read about them, you start to feel their pain, and at the same time, you can feel the love that they have for each other. Invisible is Elaine and Jax’s touching story. They both know each other from high school, Elaine is asked to tutor Jax in Geometry, but when he asked her to go out, she was so frilled about it. But then she comes home after the date an incident happened with her stepfather Keith, he started to lay into her, and poor Elaine ends up being beaten with a baseball bat. And she ends up in the hospital, while Keith is arrested.B ut when she is released from the hospital she decides that she must disappear, so she changes her name and starts to hide away because she knows Keith will come after her. It’s been 10years now, and poor Elaine is still hiding away, and Jax has joined the police force now. But then one day he’s shot and ends up having to go to a therapist, and to his surprise, the therapist turns out to be Elaine.B ut soon Elaine finds out that Keith has been released from jail and in no time she knows she must move on. So she and Jax leave to hide out again. Perfect continuation

This was the perfect continuation of Loving Jessie’s Girl, it picked up right where that one left off and delivered the answers we needed. Of course we do get more of Jessie’s story on this one and in some spots I felt in to to much retelling of what I just read in the first book (but that was OK, had there been time in between reading the two books that would have been greatly appreciated). The Author did a great job picking out the perfect women for these boys. I was left with some questions, but sometimes I like that…

Saving Cassie–A Very Good Read

First time reading a paranormal novel. Did not realize it when I purchased it. Was surprised that it held my attention throughout the book. In the past when I saw a paranormal book, I bypassed it without even reading the introduction. In saving Cassie, I was hooked from page one. I really loved the brother and sister relationship between Cassie and James. I felt their loving relationship added a lot to the story. I enjoyed Cassie’s feisty attitude the first time she met Logan when he stopped her for speeding. There were a lot of situations that Ms. Remenicky added to her story that made the book enjoyable for me. For instance, the way that Cassie’s grandmother could communicate with her and help keep her safe from the demon showed how much she loved her granddaughter. I enjoyed reading how Cassie and Logan’s love for each other developed over the weeks. I want to thank Ms. Remenicky for being able to read a book without any foul language included in the story. I also liked that Cassie was able to get pregnant and had a baby girl at the end—that was a nice surprise. I also enjoyed the book because the love scenes were tastefully done. For anyone who likes to read books without vulgar language and explicit sex scenes gives this book a try. It even makes you laugh at times. I would read another of L.A. Remenicky’s books again.

Spooky and impossible to put down

I have to start by saying that this book was a pleasure to read. It is also the first that I have read by L.A. Remenicky. That being said, I found her characters to be real, believable, down to earth and charming.
Cassie is a woman who has never felt “right” in her own skin and things start to happen that make absolutely no sense at all. First, her parents are killed leaving her orphaned and alone with her grandmother. Then her grandmother dies in a mysterious way leaving Cassie the sole heir of the house she grew up in and her grandmother’s book store. All places that mean a great deal to her, but somehow host something out to get her.
Logan is a new cop who just happens to meet Cassie in typical cop fashion…she gets a speeding ticket. He has no knowledge that his boss, the sheriff, is also Cassie’s best friend and the closest thing to a relative she has now. Logan is immediately drawn to Cassie and it slowly reveals itself in a haunting and highly anticipated way. Logan was sent to save Cassie from the demon entity that inhabited a “friend” from her parents’ past. Spooky, right? I thought so too. How do you fight a demon? How do you hold onto the love of your life and the warmth of the past? What happens when that demon is dead set on destroying not only you but everything you thought you could ever want? Cassie knows.

This is an extremely quick read.
James is a rookie cop working with Steve, Marie’s brother.
When they go to dinner where Marie works, James instantly becomes interested in her, but is warned by Steve to stay away from her.
Marie also feels an attraction for James, but after some misunderstandings, she thinks that the feeling is not reciprocal.
James starts to avoid her and his behavior sort of gets out of control to try to forget her.
Will they be able to overcome the misunderstandings and be happy together? Or are the consequences too much for them to bear?
This is a very interesting story, but the events are very fast. I think it could have been more explored.
I recommend the reading.

Chemistry

Love the chemistry between Dori and Jessie. I love how he protects her and how she helps him with his PTSD. A good read.
