Viv Drewa is a Michigan native who has enjoyed reading and writing since 1963. Though she studied medicinal chemistry at the University of Michigan, her passion has always been writing.
She had been awarded third place for her nonfiction short story about her grandfather's escape from Poland. Later, she rewrote this story and was published in the "Polish American Journal" as "From the Pages of Grandfather's Life" and has republished it on Amazon.com as a short story.
Viv took creative and journalism courses to help in her transition to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. She worked as an intern for Port Huron's 'The Times Herald", and also wrote, edited and did the layout or the Blue Water Multiple Sclerosis newsletter "Thumb Prints."

A bit confusing with all the different characters and places, but exciting nonetheless. My heart goes out to Matthew and Devery.
I hate that Lydia is under so much suspicion and hope the next book solves the murders as well as sees the young couple finally able to get married.
I miss Karen’s time traveling and wish her husband would go with her. If he’s supposed to be the soul of her first husband, he should want to go with her to the Indians, I just don’t understand why he doesn’t.
I hate that I’m ready to read the last book of the series, I hate to see it end! I love this story very much!

It will break your heart, open your eyes, lift you up, and teach you much about horses. It is suitable for all ages.

A Poignant Book For All Ages
Dinky: The Nurse Mare’s Foal is a memoir told from the first person’s POV (point of view). What makes this memoir unlike any other is that the first person (narrator) is Dinky, a foal whose life begins as a seemingly insurmountable struggle. He survives mistreatment and continued disappointments during his early life.
He longs for the time he spent with his mother who adored him. But he was so young when he was taken from her, that he was confused and lonely. Additionally, he hadn’t learned all the lessons of life that would help him in the coming years. However, in their short time together mom infused her love into Dinky’s heart and mind while reassuring him that he was smarter than most horses and would grow up to be strong. Dinky’s strength would be tested throughout his young life particularly in the areas of learning the ways of a herd and to be able to trust people again.
Luckily for Dinky, a delightful couple named Ken and Marta recognized his beauty..inside and out, adopted him and taught him what it felt like to be nurtured and loved. As Dinky stated, “They even learned how to speak horse.” Dinky is both a story of loss as well as a lesson on the power of love to heal.
It is rare that an author can write in the first person and make it feel totally authentic. Author Marta Moran Bishop masters this task.

Every single story in the anthology pulled at my heartstrings! I was drawn into the stories. I could feel each characters struggle. I love when a book draws you in. Ever the author accomplished this!

Intriguing and suspenseful
A friend recommended this book to me, and I found it to be an incredibly exciting dystopian adventure. The characters are well defined, and there’s a lovely slow-building romance.
The main character, and Blood Master, Griffin, is complex and kind. Griffin is a survivor. Not only of the Great War, Clover Virus and Death Plague but also of the cruel experiments from the evil Guild Faction.
I found myself breathlessly rooting for Griffin as he struggles to hide his identity, undergo a transformation, all while protecting orphaned children and the woman he loves.
This is the first volume in Judy Mastrangelo’s four-book series entitled “PORTAL TO THE LAND OF FAE”, which tells about the enchanting World of Fairies. I purchased the paperback book FLOWER FAIRIES: PORTAL TO THE LAND OF FAE series, by Judy Mastrangelo. As I removed the book from the package, I looked at it, and a smile instantly came over my face! The book is absolutely stunning! A work of art! The front cover, back cover, and all of the pages inside are beautifully and colorfully illustrated with intricate detail. The covers and pages are glossy, smooth, and soft to the touch. The print is large and very easy to read. I don’t want to give away the book too much, but it tells about the delightful Fairies and Elves that live in an enchanting flower fantasy world! I was captivated, as I was taken away to this secret land! Each page of this book is so intriguing, that after I read each page, I was very excited to go on to the next! This book was such a delight for me, that I could not put it down! I think that this book is great for all ages. Children and adults will really enjoy it! I am so happy that I chose to get the paperback form of this book. It is such a delightful treat, and I will treasure it forever!!!! 💖💖

The story is a basic Zombie Outbreak with introductions to the main characters, the history of the area and what is happening now. Add a few standard plot devices and viola, instant story. Now, this isn’t to say it’s like all the others, there is enough to make it fresh and worth the time to read. I am sure to pick up any and all books in the series as they become published.
All in all, a great ride, not too much gore, a touch of romance here and there, oh, and Zombies.
All Carson Reno, Mystery Series Books, are standalone novels. It is not necessary to read them in any particular order.
The witness protection program had simply not worked as promised. He and his wife had been relocated to a one-horse hick town in West Tennessee, with a promise to start life over – on the right side of the law, this time.

This is my first book by this author, so I was unsure what to expect, I was not disappointed. The book starts with Travis Kameron the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack waking up in wolf form in a cage with no memory of how he got there – to make matters worse his senses have become dull but most importantly, he has lost the ability to shift back into his human form!
In the cage opposite, he could see a white wolf, a female with the most incredible green eyes, she was watching him but refused to answer when he tried to speak to her via a mental link. She was Vanessa Burns, she had been there for a long time, she didn’t know how long because the men keeping her there, kept drugging her. Her brother Aiden, the Alpha of the Outlander Pack was the only person she thought might be looking for her but had it been too long, had he given up by now? Vanessa feared she couldn’t last much longer, she’s been drugged so many times, they drugged her to wake up, to make her sleep, she’s been beaten countless times and shocked by a vicious shock collar just as many, but being raped by Dominic the leader of these men was the worst point of her captivity.
Dominic runs an illegal fighting ring and forces shifters to fight or die Vanessa has lost count of the lives she has taken to survive but she knows she’s getting weaker and soon she will be the one to die. Her greatest regret is that she will never see the pup she is carrying.
Over time a connection/bond forms between Travis and Vanessa, Travis leans which pack she is from, her father killed his father but was then killed by her brother. Her father was a cruel and terrible man who had made her life hell. Will Travis hold her father’s sins against her?
Days pass, they don’t know how many but the day comes when they are put in the ring together, they are supposed to fight to the death – but neither will fight the other. Then just as Dominic is about to shoot one of them they are rescued by her brother Aiden and members of his pack.
What follows is a moving and exciting story about love, betrayal, and learning to trust set against a background of family love, hate and distrust. A really well written and enthralling story.
The narration of this book by Rebecca Winder was excellently done, she managed to capture the essence of the characters together with their feelings which added to my enjoyment of this very well written paranormal love story.
