Mariah Hollander was the last to know that Dr. Marcus Alexander and Marcus Cannon, was the same man.
Marcus Cannon was rich, handsome, and exceedingly stubborn… and convinced himself that marriage and children were not for him.
Dr. Marcus Alexander was Calabasas Memorial Hospital’s Chief Pediatrician and head of Pediatrics at The Harvey-Reed-Cannon Medical Group.
Marcus first spotted Mariah Hollander walking into HRC with her sister and one look at her melts all the anger and fear that’s iced over his heart, making him question his decisions about life and family.
Neglecting to tell Mariah, she found out elsewhere and Marcus had to fight to re-earn the trust of his newfound love; losing her was not an option.
This is Marcus’ view of him and Mariah’s first encounter and ultimate courtship… as well as his eidetic recollection of the events that almost took her away from him forever.

I couldn’t help BUT to fall head over heels in love with this alpha male

I have started with Broken and then Mariah. Reading Marcus book 3 in her series. I was blown away. I am used to a male POV is basically the same story. This author gets it. She doesn’t give you the same story. You not only hear Marcus’ side of the story BUT a few other key points. I couldn’t help BUT to fall head over heels in love with this alpha male. He exerts dominance and respect. You see why his brothers along with others show him respect. Marcus oozes SEX!!!!!! This book is a MUST READ!!!!!

In 1940, still in high school, Henry P. Lawrence joined the Navy Reserves. Little did he know that a year later, in May of 1941, he’d be called to service and deployed to Hawaii. No one believed the Japanese would be aggressive enough to attack a U.S. territory.
Their plan…to cripple the United States military.
The attack on Pearl came hard and fast. I Was Just a Radioman is a collection of the memoirs of ARM Henry P. Lawrence, a WW II Pearl Harbor survivor, Black Cat, and decorated war veteran.

Wee Three: A Mother’s Love in Verse, began with a few simple verses written by Helen Springer Moran, Ms. Bishop’s grandmother. Marta Moran Bishop expanded those verses, wrote others, and Wee Three was born.
Wee Three, is guaranteed to make you smile, laugh, and remember the days of your own youth.
It is a highly entertaining read for both children and adults and will delight the reader with its simple verses. If you enjoyed, A.A. Milne or Robert Louis Stevenson’s children’s verses, you are sure to love Ms. Bishop’s, Wee Three: A Mother’s Love in Verse.

Falling in love with his partner’s little sister was never part of the plan.
There was an order to James Marsden’s future: get a job as an Indianapolis cop, work his way up to detective, and then find a nice girl and start a family. He never planned on walking into a diner his first day as a rookie copy and for her to blow his entire timeline to smithereens.
When Marie Griffen’s older brother Steve introduced her to his new trainee, she was instantly drawn to his shy demeanor and blushing face. Only, she couldn’t act on her feelings even if she wanted to. Steve wanted her to date someone with a normal job – that wasn’t his partner. Marie just wanted to live her own life without her older brother watching over her.
Marie and James must decide if this off-limits romance is worth the risk or if the consequences are too much for either of them to bear.

5 Sweet Stars for Loving Marie

If there is anything remotely negative to say about this one it would be that it is too short. I have loved James and Marie in all the Fairfield Corners books, and adore this tease of how they met. In other words, I want more! 😉
This is fantastic through and through. If you are not familiar with the rest of the series, this can definitely stand-alone and can also stand as a great introduction to the series. It’s a quick read, but sweet. It sets the tone for the future of the series, though this one is set in Indianapolis rather than the quaint Fairfield Corners.

November 12, 2052: Earth has lost two-thirds of its population to the Great War. Many more lives have been lost to earthquakes, the Clover Virus, and the Death Plague. Years later, survivors are clumped into factions. Two of those factions—the Brotherhood and the Guild Faction—have battled over medical supplies and food for years. The fight is coming to a head as manpower dwindles, and the struggle becomes one to gain numbers, even if said numbers are children…
Griffin Storm, an albino man kidnapped and dragged into the Brotherhood, has transformed into a G.O.D., a Genetically enhanced Omni-dimensional being. Two weeks in the brig, and Griffin’s released after it’s determined that he’s learned to control most of his god-like abilities. His abilities have grown almost as much as his love for Tassta Vinetti and his unfortunate bloodlust. His bond with Tassta’s twin brother, Penn, has grown as well and is cemented in secrets.
Soon after his release, Griffin’s told that Guild agents and the notorious Trips (super-agents of the Guild) are in the Underground. He must now test his abilities to save the abandoned children that live there. Will Griffin rescue the children of the Underground from a tragic end? EPIC TALE FROM AN EPIC WRITER

By P.A.WILLIAMS

From the final moments from the first book to the beginning of this second book, I was already hooked with the author’s gifted style. The tale was easy to follow, and you could visualize the story in your head as you turned page after page. I thought that this was equally enthralling as the first book and I enjoyed it greatly.

Judy learn how to draw bunny and his friends
Line Blurb
Learn To Draw Bunny and His Friends is a companion book to Judy Mastrangelo’s book What Do Bunnies Do All Day? In this new book she shows easy to do, attractive, and fun ways to learn to draw Little Bunny’s Animal and Flower Friends, that he met in the book about his adventure. In her method of teaching, Judy first shows a completed painting of each picture. Then next she shows you, in three simple steps, very easy to understand ways of drawing it. Some of the Animals she shows how to draw are Rabbits, Frogs, Butterflies, and Turtles. Then Daffodils, Daisies, and Buttercups are some of the Flowers she describes drawing. Judy encourages people to look closely at nature to see special characteristics. She often includes helpful information, such as how Violets, Pansies, and Johnny-Jump-Ups look similar since they are in the same Flower family. Judy also includes at the end of the book, some pretty pages on which people can draw their own pictures of Animals and Flowers. And for inspiration, the borders of these drawing pages are decorated in a delightful way with her small pictures. You will really enjoy drawing Bunny’s Friends, when you follow Judy’s easy “Learn To Draw” steps in this book. If you practice drawing, your artistic talent will certainly blossom.

“All in all, a great ride, not too much gore, a touch of romance here and there, oh, and Zombies.” – Viral Storm: A Dystopian Zombie Apocalypse Thriller (Viral Series Book 2) by Skyler Rankin

“The sores forming with unholy speed on Harley’s arms and legs confirmed the infection was spreading. Its poison surged through her veins with such momentum that she could feel its sting in the current of her pulse. Unrelenting pain seared every cell, and she struggled to maintain focus, despite the fever raging in her blood.” – Viral Storm
Viral Storm continues the story of Casey Williams and her friends attempting to flee the country and expose the evil work of BioGenetics, creators of the virus that spawned the zombie apocalypse. Euthanizing her best friend, who’d been infected with the virus, was the most soul-crushing thing Casey could have imagined, but that was nothing compared to what happens next… Like the first book in the series, Viral Dawn, Viral Storm has gore, violence, and dark themes common in zombie apocalyptic fiction, but the book focuses more on the characters’ lives than other elements. The story centers on strong, young adult female characters as do similar books in female-centered dystopian fiction like The Hunger Games, Twilight, Divergent, and The Year of the Flood. Join Casey as her struggle for survival continues in Viral Storm.

Short, but worth the read

The worst part of this book? It is too short. Just as we have been getting things developed in the characters, the locations, the relationships, the author cuts off the story. Much like a Saturday Matinee… See you next week!! Uggg…

The story is basic Zombie Outbreak with introductions to the main characters, the history of the area, and what is happening now. Add a few standard plot devices and viola, instant story. Now, this isn’t to say it’s like all the others, there is enough to make it fresh and worth the time to read. I am sure to pick up any and all books in the series as they become published.

All in all, a great ride, not too much gore, a touch of romance here and there, oh, and Zombies.

A love story I couldn’t put down.

I love Kauffman’s Time After Time Series. MacKalvey House is my favorite so far.
Kauffman has a fantastic imagination and places these two lovers in different times and different situations. MacKalvey House is the current time and takes place in England.
I think the characters interact perfectly, whether it be good or bad, and make you feel for them.
I look forward to reading many more Time After Time books by Kauffman.
