Once again she solves a murder with the help of an ancestor, her best friend, and a sassy cat. Although this time she finds herself engaged and getting her brother in law involved too. This novel is very well written, funny, and the characters seem unbelievably real. You can definitely tell the author Susan puts some of herself into every story and even Emlyn herself. I found this novel to be a quick read since I could not put it down! I’m already looking forward to the next of the series.

Another fantastic book from A. Nicky Hjort! I loved the first in the series, and this one was equally as impressive. This was another completely original storyline unlike anything I’ve come across. Her talent for storytelling is remarkable. It was full of intense suspense that was magnified by Nicky’s creative technique of counting down the time left. Just excellent. Like A Sinister Bouquet, this was suspenseful, shocking, and beautiful all at the same time. It’s incredible how she balances so much so harmoniously. I can’t wait for the next in this series! Highly recommended!!

Every now and again you pick up a book with hardly any ratings and you think, I’ll just give it a try. Well let me tell you something,this got to be my favourite read of the year. Annie moves to Ireland and live in a caravan until the house is rebuilt. Nothing unique there? This is a brilliant journey, sometimes sad, uplifting and laugh out loud funny. This must have been some journey and difficult to come out the same sane person. I loved this book. Get it now it’s a cracker.

Wow! I was in love with the 3 main characters from the get-go!. Margo and Darryl are explosive together. Justin was my fave as he kept a cool head as Meggie and Darryl tore strips off each other. The dynamics of the characters and the plot kept me reading into the wee hrs. I give this story 5 lightening bolts for a sizzling read.
