“The Boy Next Door” is a cute novella written by the very talented queen of romance, the lovely Danielle Lee Zwissler.
The first book of the trilogy introduces the readers to Keri and Payton and their struggle to transform their friendship into a relationship. Even though they have been best friends until now, it quickly turns out it’s not an easy transition from friendship to love and it does require new skills the main characters have to learn; dealing with distance, yearning, learning to trust each other, patience, and so on, and so forth… And all this in the shadow of Keri’s personal drama, which initiates the whole story.
I must admit that even though I do not read this genre on a regular basis…
