Things happen that you can’t explain. Abby has a good life. Not much to it, but she’s making due. Things change one night when she gets a creepy customer. When the creepy customer confronts her on her way home from work, she is rescued by Desmond. Then things turn weird. Abby finds out that not only is her rescuer a vampire–yes, they do exist–but she’s not exactly human either. As if that’s not enough, Abby has the king of all demons after her for her blood, and he’s not wanting just a sip…he wants it ALL.
Abby and Desmond are very well written characters that seem to jump out at you from the very first words. Add in a vampire brother for Des, a snarky best friend for Abby, a few…
